Same here. Besides pro motion, there's nothing exciting to me that will make me trade in my 12 pro max. Not to mention the worse color options of the 13 pro max

I have stood in line, pre-ordered or rushed to get the newest device on every single generation since the very first iPhone - but something's changed. Maybe it was the recent privacy intrusions announced that throw red flags on value shifts Apple has secretly made over the decade. Maybe it's the lack of truly innovative features for those of us who have aged out of Memoji. Maybe it's the dull leadership hyper focused on their number one product: stock.

Cinema mode - the outcome from 34,000 corporate employees? I mean, really?

Or is it because the device has reached a maturity that not much else is needed to make life better?

Has the price point become something I can no longer justify?

Waiting for the end of Oct. The GF and I could then trade both our phones (XS Max and 11PM) towards 13PM's.

Or wait until the new 18's are released. Some people always WAIT. My buddy still has his 6 due to being so tight he squeaks when he walks, yet he is always grossing about his iOS, problems, etc. 🤔

I don't disagree however the battery on my iPhone 11 Pro is hardly making it through the day and I've been wanted to get the Pro Max. If it wasn't for the crazy trade in deal with AT&T, I'd probably wait another year, but $1000 for my trade in?!?!? Can't pass that up.

I got that deal last year on my 11 ProMax traded in a beat up 8 Plus.. This year I switched to Verizon and got a $650 gift card, plus $200 iPad plus $100 Apple Watch for switching. For the 13 I'm going unlocked through Apple with $500 trade in.
