I got my November challenge as well (Walk 78 Miles throughout the month

New iOS 12 version came out today, I updated my iPhone X as soon as it came out and I still didn’t have any of my Apple Watch achievements restored so Apple did not fix the issue. A WatchOS update did not come out today along with the new iOS update but I wanted to post in this thread regardless to give everyone an update, I want to stay optimistic but I kinda gave up hope on these lost award achievements ever coming back.

I'm still having the same issues as well. Nothing fixed for me as of yet.

That’s what I’ve been worried about. Do we even know if this issue is software related?
Didn’t someone previously post about how Apple was aware of this issue and were working on fixing it? Or was that something someone just made up?(that’s what it seems like to me at this point)
Also, These that claimed their achievements were magically restored in the previous iOS update were just false made up statements in my opinion because clearly if apple did fix this issue and restored people’s achievements then we would have all gotten our achievements back but we know that’s not the case

It has to software related somewhere in the chain. I don’t know how it could be hardware.
I guess I meant more along the lines of "do we know if it's related to the software on our watch or phone?" Could it be on Apple's servers or something?

Anyone update to the final version of watchOs5.1.2 to see if this was resolved? (I’m at work and don’t have the watch charger at work so I’ll be updating in the evening)

None of my previous achievements that I lost, still haven’t downloaded with 5.1.2. At this point, I’m going to say I will never get them back.

Awards still aren't working correctly in Activity app. I'm going to contact Apple again to complain.

Just installed the update on my Series 4 and i can confirm that Apple did not restore a single one of my lost limited edition achievements.
In addition, Did they even bother fixing the 3 Day "Delay" that we were expiriencing with the Perfect Month and monthly challenge Achievements?

That’s a big N-O.

I was more excited about the possible correction of the delay than ECG/EKG.
Disappointed is an understatement.

I’ve just started noticing that when I exceed 200% of my move goal I don’t get that award. Have any of you had that issue or is this thread simply for the monthly awards? Not sure if I should restore my watch or not. AppleCare just instructed me to do so but it’s a real pain in the butt. Are the daily goals also on a 3 day delay? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

All of the awards are anywhere from 1-day to 1-week behind

But they do eventually register? I just noticed the following on Apple’s website:

If you complete a goal, but don't earn the award
You will earn the award within 9 days of completing the Activity Challenge.

I honestly do believe that these awards and achievement badges are tied to some sort of an online database on apple’s servers and are not fully stored localy per device and something has gotten corrupted on that end which resulted in this huge mess of a situation. It might be a combination of something screwed up with the code in iOS12 as well because that’s when I lost 2 years worth of limited edition badges dating back to 2016 as soon as I updated to iOS12 when it came out.

You’ll eventually get it, just give it a few days. My 200% badges have been taking 2-3 days to appear on the phone’s Activity app.
Okay, good deal. I was hoping that was the answer bc I did not want to restore this thing. I hope Apple fixes it but it seems like this has been going on since the beginning of 2018. :/

I know some of the users here have been having trouble with the special badges, but the “2-3 day delay” issue started the first week of November.

Oh, so the daily/monthly challenges it is a relatively new issue? Hopefully watchOS 5.1.3 and iOS 12.1.2 will address some of these bugs. Quite the strange issue.
