Well, actually I would say you have come to the wrong neighbourhood to ask ;).
Because here are all those people who invested in this company and backed them to get the product alive and took a risk. And there were many things which went wrong. Delays are normal but not the lack of communication and clearly false statements.

You cannot "back" them anymore. But if everything goes according to plan, you can buy the SP from amazon.com starting September 21st.

It looks like people like you, who did not take a risk, will be able to get the SP quicker than those who backed them to make the product become reality. We were promised to get the SP weeks ago shipped by EMS (Express Shipping). After "weired" excuses - holidays in China, problems at EMS... - everything is now being shipped with China Post (slow and cheap). Nobody has their SP yet.

I would be careful if they already treat their backers like that. Order when you can, but don't expect service afterwards or them to keep their promise.
I always hoped for the better, but by the time they were shipping with China Post and not even reacting to related questions, I lost hope.

But of course while we all waited for the packaging and shipment and what not, they had the time to create two different/other screen protectors and go to fairs like the IFA in Berlin. I almost believe that the one person we saw on the picture packing the Cinders, was the only one putting everything together.

I find it odd that the company is being so shady.

I didn't back them and won't be ordering from amazon either. I don't deal with ****** companies

Yeah it is the same with me, saying that I don't use screen protectors or even cases now.

We just received confirmation that all non-US will work correctly thursday morning Bejing time.
All US are now also trackable via EMS and USPS.

First it was Wednesday morning, now Thursday morning. Now it is for sure that it will not arrive before products from Amazon.com.

You will get yours next tuesday, along with ~30 other backers who did not receive a tracking number yet for various reasons. But only if you already contacted Cupert about it.
So I emailed them with an extremely polite and some what ass kissing email. They responded IMEDDIATELY and said thank you for being so polite. So it looks like there's the issue people are having. They're probably sending rude emails to them and that's why they aren't getting responses. Maybe, I don't know.

Well, they (Cupert) answered in a really rude way to OP charis1113. He has posted his message here. And there are comments on the IGG page only asking why they are now shipping it with China Post etc. And there have been normal and kind questions before and they did not update nor write anything. It's not that everybody wrote in a rude way and they refused to answer.


The main problem is, that they had excuses which cannot be true (EMS etc.) and now shipping with China Post and letting their backers receive the product later than anybody else. And this without even mentioning that they are using China Post. They promised EMS.

How much would you trust somebody who breaks his promises again and does not even say why or what is going on?

I just told them I hadn't received my tracking number and wondered when I would. They said they'll get it to me as soon as possible and weren't sure why I didn't get one.
The same answer my friend got around 2 weeks ago. At the time they said next week, then another week and recently they said a shipping number will be assigned next tuesday.
I guess you are in the same last batch.

Ordering from Amazon is probably quicker for you ;).

I don't trust crowdfunders too much tbh - having a bad time with YUFU stylus from Jon if any of you are aware of the issue haha.

Except that it only sounds fancy "first class ..." - that is just a name from USPS not China Post. Track it on 17track and you will see no first class ;). You are one of the backers from the US, thats why tracking shows at all. «L» - Airmail E-packet (less than 2 kg), no express shipping.

Everybody else who is not from the US has no working tracking yet :).

EDIT: If you ordered 2 SP, did you pay shipping twice?

Paid for Cinder July 7th and never received a tracking number. Just got an email after multiple requests for status and am now told I'm in "batch 3". This company is a joke. :/
 
Batch "2" (non USA) is still not working. They said tracking would work days ago, then wednesday (16th. of Sept.) morning Beijing time, then thursday (17th of Sept.) morning Beijing time, then thursday, now it's friday in Beijing and still nothing. I guess soon holidays in China will come up again and then this will be the reason. How many weeks ago did they say "everything was picked up by EMS"?

EDIT: Found it -> more than 2 weeks ago (17 days).

No page can track my number, not 17track, not the page from EMS.
Now I tried: http://track-chinapost.com/
It states: "No shipping record in old database."

Then I click on "Please try to track in New China Post database"

And then it states the following: "XXXXXXXXXXX is invalid Number! China Post has not received this parcel."

By now I am starting to wonder if they did still not ship them or if the shipped them even without tracking.

My tracking number is now working in the usps system.
For US based backers it should already work since 2 days over www.17track.net.

The problem is that non-US based backer's tracking numbers don't work at all yet.
