Same for batch 3. Since September Cupert is always saying, another week, another two weeks and by now they are just claiming they still don't have all the info from the backers which are left?! Sure. Cupert was so "honest" before and now probably as well. I cannot believe that after over one monthe there are still backers where Cupert does not have their info. They should send the Cinders finally.

But they probably want to serve amazon first.

I received my Ice Max protector for the iPhone 6S Plus from Amazon yesterday. Although the packaging is different and it doesn't come with the static cling sheet, the protector itself appears to be the same as Cinder -- right down to the black board to which the glass is adhered for shipping. Unlike with Cinder, I was able to install this protector without the long air bubble down the entire right side of the screen. In fact, the install went almost perfectly and almost looks great. There is, however, still one air bubble on the bottom corner which won't dissipate no matter what I do.

It didn't work for me. The CandyShell hugs the iPhone 6/6+, so in my opinion it's quite difficult to squeeze it on with CINDER installed. Cupert claims they were able to get it to work, with some coaxing. YMMV.
My experience was the same.

Sorry I'm a bit confused by your wording.

Mine is coming tomorrow.

So does the back of this protector contain the hard-to-peel black adhesive like the cinder or is it a clear back adhesive?

thanks

The Ice Max and CINDER have the same hard backing. You will not be able to use the hinge method.

just an update on my cinder, the slight lines along the edges of the screen where it wasn't adhering 2 days ago after application are still there, it's clearly just not sticking there.

Not going to bother reattempting to install or getting rid of it, I'll just have to live with it (install is perfectly aligned).

Try to lift up the glass protector on that side and try to remove the air bubble again.

I tried. As with the Cinder, there is simply no position I can set the protector which doesn't leave a bubble somewhere. I'm convinced that either these curved glass protectors are not all made to spec or that there are minor subtle differences in the iPhone screens which cause these to not work on some phones. I'm done trying.

waiting since may 9. USA.
My name was missing at indiegogo...address was right. No idea how.
They never contacted me.
I deserved to be contacted and not lumped into batch 3

Just applied Cinder onto my 6S+ and it's perfect. The glass feels better than the original glass on the phone and the cut-outs fit pretty good as well. It also fits into my leather case without any problems.

So jealous!!!

That's the setup I'm going with along with a Rhinoshield Bumper.

A couple of questions regarding the installation:

1. How long did you wait to do the sides after squeegeeing out the water?

2. Did you have to use a hairdryer to dry the sides faster or let it air dry before sticking it down?

3. How much solution did you spray on the back? Did you wet it a lot or a slight mist?

Am I the only one that can't get a perfect alignment with th cinder? The screen protector cut outs are too "long" if the speaker is centered then the home button is too low and vice versa

Yes I have the same issue with the home button and ambient light sensor, my home button is centered, yet the hole for the light sensor is too high.

Glad I'm not the only one. The compulsiveness is kicking in but now that I know I'm not the only one it's a little bit relieving

I know this is a Cinder thread, but can someone recommend a glass screen protector (other than Cinder) that complements an Air Jacket by Power Support? Not sure I'm ready to give $40 to a company like Cupert Tech.

Ordered the Ice Max 3D for my 6s Plus from Aliexpress. Can't wait!

Has anyone ordered for shipping to Australia? If so, how long did it take from order to delivery?

Returned Cinder because the thing wouldn't align by any chance. The edges done there and they're not made to specifications exactly I believe. I even ended up cracking the screen.

Ordered Ice Max 3D from Ali Express. Hopefully that goes better.

Mate we are in the same boat! And country! I just ordered the same thing from them on Friday night- I'm thinking it's going to take 2 weeks earliest

You cracked your iPhone screen? Or the screen protector?

Hell yes!!! Let's keep each other updated.... I agree it'll be next Friday earliest. I've bought stuff online from HK/China before and it takes at least 2 weeks.

Order details: 12/10 8.00AM - The seller is processing your order
