Has anyone received their plus versions from Amazon yet? When I ordered mine I got an October 1st shipping date and just got word from Cupert that now has been pushed to the 15th. More drama.
Hey it says mine shipped yesterday. But the tracking number shows up as "Invalid" when I type it into UPS. I contacted them and they said they'd have to contact their warehouse. I thought these tracking numbers were automatically entered rather than manually. So the chances of getting an incorrect tracking number is unlikely right?
Amazon does not ship it, only lists the product to be sold. Is is shipped and sold by Cupert Technology, so expect longer delivery than what is advertised, just as every one else is over a month late and still "shipping". Why is everyone still paying a premium for this screen protector after their lies and all the bad quality control of these screens? I can't even tell the difference between this and the other one I bought from Godosmith Ice Max

"We are very sorry but your order has not shipped yet. The demand was overwhelming and we made some mistakes checking in our inventory. As of today we are waiting for more inventory from the factory but it looks like the earliest ship date will be Oct.15! We sincerely apologize for this and the inconvenience it may cause you. We would fully understand if you decide to cancel your order. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

Received this today from Cinder, ordered on Amazon.

Finally they reveal the real reason for the shipping delay for their backers.

I don't get this company. I received 2 Cinders from Amazon. The first one installed fine but an hour later the adhesive started bubbling and would not go away. I had no idea what was happening. And so I opened up my second pack. The screen protector cracked upon removal from the backing. I have absolutely no clue why they would put a hard tempered corning piece of glass on a rigid plastic backing. It's very troublesome to remove a piece of glass from a plastic backing. Think about it. Neither the plastic or the glass will bend.

I have ordered the IMOS before and they just include plastic film on the backing of the glass. Very easy, and simple removal from the glass. However....Cuperts method's are not. And the methods they choose really make me wonder what they're thinking.
I gave up on my cinder. Works fine without a case. With my Apple silicon case it just bubbled up. I thought it was my misaligned installation. Took it off, reapplied it more precisely, same problem. Don't even think about washing it. Tried it. Fail.

Anyone have tips to remove the glass from the thick plastic backing without breaking the glass?

I ordered a Cinder but than I also ordered an Eclipse which is a non-curved (so not 3D on the edges as it cuts off a bit early) version of the Cinder they sell for 24.99 instead of 39.99 and it shipped through Amazon. For my experience, it is the best screen protector I have ever used bar none. It is so thin and it looks like real smartphone glass rather than tempered glass. It is also honestly the first glass screen protector that I have used where I can confidently say that the glass on the screen protector feels to me at least even better than the original glass on the screen itself.

As for installing it, I ran into no issues. The removal of the glass back from the thick plastic backing was a little weird but if you do it slow and steady, it is easy to remove. I just followed the instructions and came up with a perfectly installed screen protector (though I do believe that I have steady hands).

As for glass strength, I so far have no scratches or marks of any kinds and the oleophobic coating on this screen protector is much better and is better than the oleophobic coating on the original screen itself. I believe this improved coating along with the quality of the glass is the reason why the screen protector feels better than the original screen itself. I am satisfied with the non-flat version so I have cancelled my order of the Cinder. I imagine the Cinder is even better as it has 3D curved edges and would probably be easier to install.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents as I believe that it is a great product. Now there customer service, or if it is real Gorilla Glass, I have no clue but I do believe the product they offer is very good.

Here is a picture of my phone that to me shows how amazing this screen protector is.

I wonder if the eclipse will work with the k11 bumper.

Edit: never mind if I did get one to go with the k11 it'd probably have to be the phantom

Cinder / Ice max / any other 3d glass company, I just want one nice one to use. The Cinder I installed looks to be a little crooked in the cut outs (either speaker or home button perfectly aligned while other can't be) and I get a little glare when using my front facing camera. Does anyone have this problem and any success resolving with Cinder?

Even my Ice max I ordrered on Aliexpress on the advice of some members here say the shipping "has failed to be picked up from warehouse" and GD SMITH is not answering ANY emails or messages. Very disappointed all around, I just want a glass protector for my screen!!

I'm in the same failed boat. I was getting fast replies while placing my order, but as soon as pick up failed... Nada.

Will wait a bit more to see how this goes.

Contact Godosmith via the AliExpress app. They've responded every time I've asked a question in this way. BTW, has your estimated ship date already passed or are you just being eager?

I ordered my Cinder from Amazon on September 25th. It didn't ship til October 1st from California, then got delayed immediately at the origin facility, but has supposedly left and is expected to arrive here in MN on Thursday according to Amazon. Yet according to UPS, delivery date info is still not available and the tracking hasn't updated since it left the origin facility 2-3 days ago now.

Who knows when it will show up, if ever.

No I'm just being eager, I just ordered it on the 26th or something but I've never bother to contact before as I got the link from here and I trust you guys enough to just try it out.

I just don't understand why it is failed to be picked up and no updates for a week after that. Since I placed my order I seen the same screen protectors up and available on Amazon so I got kind of irritated I could've just ordered from there with amazons reliability and shipping

Hi all

Just wanted to give a little feedback....

I was within the first 5 backers, and am in the UK. I have therefore experienced all the various shipping issues, with the latest tracking suggesting that my 2 Cinders have finally left Beijing.

However, thinking that it was a real possibility that I might never received them, I purchased one from a forum member in the US. After about only a week, I received it today.

I have tried many top end and cheap screen protectors, and consider myself reasonably handy at installing them. As long as you take care removing the plastic backing, it comes off just fine. The anti-static film worked really well, but the protector took a couple of attempts to align perfectly. This was only really because I am fussy, and could not live with the thin white line at the screen edge which seems to appear unless perfectly aligned (did seem to be aligned each time, but just continued to try until sorted). I would say more bubbles appeared than with most other protectors, but they all worked out straight away.

Now that it is installed, what can I say! It is simply the best screen protector I have tried, and exceeds all expectations. The glass is just so smooth, and the coating seems effective at the moment. It works perfectly with my favourite case - the non-force Power Support which provides a seamless join for swiping etc.

So I am very extremely happy with the product. As for the customer service...........

I am looking forward to trying the white when it arrives, but not looking forward to the installation.

Was it hard to put on? Bubbles a problem. I remember the IMOS was a bear to put on.

Cinder is quite a bit easier than Imos, but Imos is easier than it used to be as well. The adhesives have improved.

Average I would say! Found some have been better, as in no bubbles, some no doubt worse!

Take your time lining up around the home button, drop closer and align with your fingers either side at the top, job done!

I Emailed Corning Gorilla Glass. They responded with the same pat response.

We do not supply screen protectors. That would mean IMOS is lying, or they have some sort of agreement.

Who knows...

Yup, i ordered cinder when it popped up on amazon. Expected 2 weeks before it ships. No problem since i already ordered a generic anyways for 20 bucks. Already got an email few days about further delay of another 2 weeks. Um... No. Not waiting longer since they have a nasty history of screwing the original backers. What do you know... They responded 3 hrs after i sent a request to cancel.

What did they say? I was told I have to wait til the 15th when my original ship date was the 1st.

so mine was supposed to deliver from amazon via UPS this thursday, surprisingly it's on the truck for delivery today, even after being delayed at the origin facility in Ontario, CA.

But of course I'm at work all day, and I can't seem to figure out if they are going to need a signature or not. Anyone else who ordered from Amazon and shipped out of Ontario California via UPS, did you need a signature?
