Aaron_the_Ho from MobileReviews-Eh just gave CINDER his highest rating of all the edge to edge protectors he's tested. That's impressive because, this guy tests the products he reviews real well.

This is very promising, as this reviewer, along with yourself scjr, convinced me to buy a rhino shield and that's by far the best case/bumper I've ever owned. Unfortunately I've decided to get the 6s and not the plus next time around, and I ordered for my 6 plus from indiegogo. Oh well
 
Anyone with a working tracking number yet? The so-called Chinese holidays are over, and yet my tracking is not up yet.

Afaik EMS ships worldwide. Of course there is no EMS in Canada, nor in Europe. But then the Canadian Post or Purolator or TNT... will deliver it in the end.

Just weired that after one week there is no recognized shipping number.
A friend of mine is in contact with Cupert and was promised a shipping nr. for today but still did not receive one yet. So there must be still some backers which do not have a shipping nr. yet.
 
Based on my experience with EMS, once the package is handed to the post office, it should become active in less than 24 hours.

What you guys are experiencing tells me that the company has picked up a bunch of EMS shipping labels and have started to fill them out but they did not even actually mail out the packages yet.

This is just a guess, but for some providers it is possible to request shipping numbers, even if the package has not been sent yet. You just get the numbers and can send it whenever you like.

Just by curiosity, are your numbers different from mine?

That is what I guessed a few days ago. I wasn't sure if this is possible with EMS as well. Thank you for the info.
I guess we will know for sure when we see the shipping number beeing recognised in the system.

Because no one ever ships to Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was ready to settle for coolreall sp but NOPE.
 
I got my tracking number on 1st, now it is 8th, the tracking number is still not working, and I am in Hk, China ems to Hk, supposed it takes 2 to three days only......

Dear backers, Finally we received all information. The shipping company hasnt provided the expected service in any way, why the shipping is delayed. This is the information we have for you: Every package has been picked up by the EMS and will we scanned(x-rayed) asap and afterwards actual shipping will begin. All US tracking codes has been renewed and you will receive an e-mail within 24 hours with the new tracking number. We are sorry about the situation but the packages are not in our hands. When we recieve new information we will send out a new update. Best Regards Team Cupert Technology

There are always some problems even in the final step haha. Maybe there are too many packages and EMS can't handle it well.......Just maybe!
 
im sorry but this company is a ****ing joke. theres been a big problem, excuse, and delay at literally every single step in the process and poor communication at every step, which is just inexcusable for a company, no matter how new they are. "crowdfunding pitfalls" are no excuse at this point. this isnt crowdfunding pitfalls, this is just sheer incompetence at every facet.

hopefully you guys have these before the iphone 7 is out.

At what point do you ask for your money back before they declare bankruptcy?
 
I have a theory why we don't have the Cinder ... they are waiting to see if it works with the new 3D touch technology of the iPhone 6S. If not, prepare for a bankruptcy announcement.

I am sure it will work with 3D Touch as Cinder is One of the thinnest SP but it might not fit the iPhone 6s as it is marginally bigger.

Why do they not have any new information if it is really the fault of EMS?
I mean, they sent over a thousand packages and have no tracking. Then they believe EMS about the "holiday excuse". And now nothing has been sent and new shipping numbers will only be assigned for US customers? Still no word about the rest of the world.

If EMS really f*ed up and packages were just laying around then they should negotiate priority shipping or something similar. What is taking so long if they do not have the packages anymore? EMS is not delivering packages since yesterday.

I think before monday there will be no information nor (working) tracking or whatsoever.

I am wondering what will be next. Maybe the shippment will get lost by EMS or sent to the wrong country or problems with customs or a mix up with the labels.
 
Another update:

Dear backers,

We have now received the awaited update from the shipping company:

1. Tracking numbers for all US backers remain unchanged.

2. Tracking numbers for the rest of the world have been changed and you will receive an email, expected to be within 12 hours.

3. Around 30 backers from the US have errors in their addresses and will be emailed directly, expected to be within 24 hours.

As regards the last batch, we are still collecting data in order to send as many as possible.

The shipping company has guaranteed that all tracking numbers will be working by this coming Monday, 14th September.

We hope this is the final update about tracking numbers and the next update will be released when packages are airborne.

We are sorry about this insane and unavoidable shipping mess; we fully understand your frustrations.
