MP 7,1 which 6900xt cards fit in a Mac Pro 2019?

What version of MacOS are you using? I can't get more than 60Hz in 4k in Monterey, 4k 120Hz is already running in Sequoia.

Hi Rimmsi, thanks for your reply! Before buying the 6900 XT, I wanted to confirm that someone had actually achieved 120Hz. Now I know it is possible.I'm currently on the latest macOS (Sequoia), but RX580 is still limited by 60Hz, so will now try 6900xt

as of March 16, 2026, I can confirm it is now supporting full 6k 60HZ on Pro Display XDR using 6900xt's + Display+USB-A to USB-C cable. Mac Pro 7. 1 with latest macOS 26.3.1
