I use Safari. I don’t think I’ve seen a case where it didn’t work for me. I have a Windows PC connected to a machine I use. I rarely use a browser on it but I think it has MS Edge.

I have to say I’m not a power user of any sort.

I've been enjoying Brave for almost a year. The extensions I use frequently seem to perform better than with Safari. I also like the ad blocking function.

Too bad we can't see what browsers are in the "Other" category.
When I created the poll I purposely kept it vague because the volume of non chrome/apple/firefox browsers is just too large.

I asked chatgpt to count up all of the chromium based browsers (both current and inactive) and the count hit 43. Even with just active browsers we're looking at between one to two dozen browsers.

It was better to have people just say what they use after the big three are accounted for

I did cast Safari in the poll, as it's the browser I use at home/for private use.

Now, if the poll allowed multiple choices I could also have picked Firefox or Other, as I have Firefox Developer Edition as the default browser on my work Mac. That's better than Safari for web development, and - most important - is not Chrome... :p

Safari 95% of the time, only if something doesn't work or youtube ad blocking doesn't work, Brave

It would be helpful if Safari could be configured (like Firefox) to cache only to RAM. I would use it more. Until then, Firefox mostly because of "browser.cache.disk.enable = false", NoScript, and uBlock Origin.

Firefox due to the Livemarks plugin that recreated the original Firefox Live Bookmarks feature. Why other browsers haven't copied thie feature I'll never know!
