I used to have all my devices synced until I realized that I do about 99% of my web browsing on my MacBook and the things I do on my desktop tend to be completely different. It turns out I actually find it more useful for my bookmarks/history/passwords to be synced with my phone so I can access things if I'm out and about. And just let my desktop be its own thing with a purely local account.

I'm confused what you're saying ..

I have my bookmarks/history/passwords synced everywhere .. It's totally awesome.

I definitely do different things on my Mac, but I absolutely like being able to easily find anything I was looking at, from any device. I tend to do this more than I would have imagined.

I guess what I'm saying is that although I don't need everything from each device on the other devices, I enjoy having the access occasionally (synced browser tab from my mac I may need to pull up on my phone real quick, etc).

Personally, I really like having all this split out from Apple also, so that the features/reliability/usability of it all are in no way tied to specific OS versions on the devices.

I riced my Brave. Am I on a "This guy rices his web browser" list now?

All. (should add maybe not every single one that exists but most) Not because I have to just it is interesting.

All my bookmarks/favorites are always synced with no matter what browser I am using at the time or if I am using more than one at once.

Firefox down to 3-4% user share and now not supported by F1 TV (not my screenshot)...

Glad to see Chrome scoring even lower than "Other" in the poll 😅

Indeed it is. Think it has sometime to do with v3 of extensions being forced not sure. Plus ublock origin. Yes there a way but still not as simple.

I do like Safari for its interoperability.

However I use Brave for its superior ad blocking feature. It makes a huge difference in website readability as well as being lightning fast.
I do like Brave I just don't really care for the logo / icon, lol

Safari on Apple gear

Edge on PC. I think it works just fine and half its bad rep is just because it's a Microsoft product lol. They do get things right once in a while (though they then tend to kill them off if they work too well).

I thought I already posted a response to this.

Brave.

For the longest period of time it was Firefox. I recently got annoyed (autoplay videos) and wanted to try something different. So I have been using Brave for a few weeks and like it. I give it more credit because it is new to me and appears to be doing some good privacy things. And it has SHIELDS!!!

I just came over from Windows, I have previous familiarity with Safari on iPads, but otherwise am not a fan of it and don't expect to be. I actively dislike the tab management and history and consider it unwieldy.

Brave is so 1993
Vivaldi rules in 2025
Orion works great on 2010-2012 MacBooks.

safari is so regulated and blocks what they think is a porn site for some strange Timcook reason.

I forgot about Vivaldi, do you use it on both Mac & iOS?

What do you like / dislike.

Thank You!
I hardly use the internet on iOS but have that on the iPad as default browser.

Vivaldi has better tab sharing than safari as all devices are to the second
were safari is a page or closed tab behind.
