I just sniffed mine. š No smellā¦How's the smell of your Duraback version? Because my leather version has no smell aside from the typical Nomad leather smell.

He mentions that the case popped off the phone on the first drop, but that was with the action camera attached to the back. The subsequent 61 drops without the camera attached were fine. He should have mentioned that the first drop was not indicative of an issue with the fit. That said, Nomad cases have always been on the loose side and could stand to fit tighter.
Yeah, Iām over here sniffing my rugged and nothing š«ŖI just sniffed mine. š No smellā¦
Yep...love their cases. They don't currently have one for the 17 Pro that I'm interested in, sadly (better for my wallet though).Anyone here have the pleasure of sniffing a Vaja leather case fresh out of the box? Pure Heaven š
Me either...I will either stick with my Air or get the Air 2 next year.Iām not upgrading š©
Thatās going to be wild on your orange phone. Looking forward to pics."Purple People Eater" is on the move š
That's the first time I'm hearing about this case and... wow? Do you have one for the 17PM?Anyone here have the pleasure of sniffing a Vaja leather case fresh out of the box? Pure Heaven š
He just posted a correction that the case slipped off the corner after the second drop. Iām not surprised, since the case is very easy to get on and off the phone. But it stayed on the phone for every drop after, which is still a good thing. He mentions that the case popped off the phone on the first drop, but that was with the action camera attached to the back. I had one back in the day when phones were tiny. Smelled like a fine leather wallet or handbag.Anyone here have the pleasure of sniffing a Vaja leather case fresh out of the box? Pure Heaven š
No, haven't had a Vaja case in years. Used to buy them several years back and the leather smell they produce is unbelievable. All this case sniffing had me thinking about Vaja cases of the past. That's the first time I'm hearing about this case and... wow? Do you have one for the 17PM?
The non-custom version is not as expensive, but still⦠steep prices š¤ It does look very cool, though.Vaja Buckler, WOW š¤Ŗ

So Iām thinking the only case similar to that of the TO in feel and buttons but that is lighter, is probably the Alumu Vegan Leather. Itās 37 vs 45 grams compared to the TineeOwl. Idk how much lighter that will feel but might be willing to take a shot lolApple Silicone?
Paragon Precise. OK, I won the case Lottoāthis one is perfect, no defects. I actually really like the feel, the same as last year, Caudabeās best case IMO. Fortunately, with my UltraGlass screen protector, which is on the thin side, the screen is perfectly flush with the lip, which is acceptable to me and actually feels great. If the screen protector was a fraction of a millimeter thicker it would protrude beyond the lipāI got lucky this time. So overall, not disappointed, and itāll most likely end up in the rotation.
And to the Mous hatersāyes, the Paragon is more comfortable⦠lol.
I haven't had a smell from any of my Nomad stuff š³That's wacked, never had any smell from any of my Noman rugged cases. He really threw me off with that bit.
Speaking of smells... I have some Andar AirTag holders, and some of them smell of chemicals. I have been airing them out for about a week.. They are almost "done". I've never had that chemical smell on any Andar products before this particular batch.I just sniffed mine. š No smellā¦
Any idea how the UltraGlass protector, compares to the Belkin model Apple sells in their store?Paragon Precise. OK, I won the case Lottoāthis one is perfect, no defects. Iām pretty sure the Belkin UltraGlass is the thinnest screen protector on the market. The UltraGlass brand 9H (which is not affiliated with Belkin at all) is thicker, but not as thick as the really beefy protectors like the Torras. I found the Belkin UltraGlass to be quite fragile, whereas the UltraGlass brand 9H is much more durable.Any idea how the UltraGlass protector you have, compares to the Belkin model Apple sells in store? I know it's a race to ask this, but hey, you never know!
Thatās normal. Supposedly it contributes to the tight fit.
