I just switched from the Pitaka Edge to the dBrand Tank for the day. It’s about like switching from a sports car to a…well… tank. 😆 They’re both great cases with sort of extreme pluses and minuses going opposite directions. The Edge is super light and thin, feels amazing in the hand, looks great, gives unfettered access to the phone, and provides essentially zero drop protection. The Tank, on the other hand, provides super drop protection, has excellent grip, incredible fit, and perhaps the best buttons on the market, while being heavy as a brick, uncomfortable, and ugly as sin (I know, taste is subjective). I like owning both because sometimes I have different needs, and sometimes I’m just bored and want to drastically change things up.
