It’s not too bad actually I like the texture a lot. The edges aren’t as raised the Flolab surtect but the trade off being it’s less intrusive when swiping etc.

Rumours suggest No (only the Pro model will be compatible ) but your guess is as good as mine.

But Casebelle who I among others tested their recent leather case suggested below:

Apple needs to bring back leather but would be hard to backtrack. I'm sure they could put some spin on it like 'sourced from 100% waste product' or something. Unlikely I guess.

I‘d buy a new iPhone for an Apple leather case. 🥲 But it’s highly unlikely at this point. They might try something vegan first before they go back to leather. But never say never, I guess.

Decided to return the Icarer leather case I had (leather quality was just not that good) and also the Wiiuka I just received today. I’m just not a fan of Nubuk leather on a case. Although this one is supposed to patina like immediately. It’s otherwise a very nice case.

I went and had a look at the Samsung Fold today because I wanted to see if this form factor would appeal to me and honestly, it’s a very weird size. Like a biiiig passport? I don’t have small hands, but I need two hands to open and close this thing. And it will be humongous with a case on it. Hard to hold on to with just one hand. Honestly like the Fold Ultra form factor much better. But of course, people will line up to get this thing from Apple in September. Though I hear stock might be low and you have to be fast to get one on release day.
