I know it didn’t favor super well in some drop tests and some folks had loose fitmet issues BUT mine fits tight…. I really like the thinness and texture of this case. Dug it out and it’s been on 3 straight days. sides are similar to Caudabe Sheath but texture probably slightly more aggressive…

Fragile or not, a metal ring like the Enzo has, which makes direct contact with the surface of the device is not a smart piece of design.

Nor are gussets supporting the camera ring, which create potential pressure contact points, like one of those cases have (Mous, PR, or dBrand, I don't recall which).
The Enzo metal ring doesn’t directly contact the phone. The case that damaged the phone in the Reddit post was a Mous. It apparently had some glue residue around the plateau area.

It’s the dBrand Grip that has the gussets. This seems like a poor design but I’ve yet to see any reports of damage from this case.

I've seen some paranoid people post on reddit about it, but you're right, no evidence that it actually hurt their phone. Regardless, I wouldn't get one if I knew those were in there!

I’ve seen at least two people on Reddit who had damage to the coating under these gussets after a prolonged time in the Grip. I stopped using mine after I saw that.

Here's that post: https://www.reddit.com/r/dbrand/s/W3W5q8XsEy
