I got my phone at Best Buy because my buddie's wife works there and got a good deal on the Rocketfish TPU case. At least I think it's TPU, but they call it a "soft shell case". I went with the clear one because I like the way the back looks.

Same here, got the phones at BB and grabbed the cheapest thing they had til i go on my OCD search for the perfect case later...I will say im pleasantly pleased with this case...will probabaly surprise myself and keep it on longer than i Think

I'm probably gonna go to best buy and get an otterbox case, not gonna wait till Tuesday to get the one I preordered unless I can't find the one I like.

can you post a pic of it on your phone??
thanks!

Lifeproof needs to hurry up and release their IP5 case. Right now my IP5 is naked, but I'll probably just have to get a cheapo case for the time being...

Totally agree I am considering an Otter since they are released but lifeproof seems to be the best case once it is released.

Is it crystal clear or frosted? Any pics?

Thanks!

Initially bought an STM Harbour, since it was the most promising case I could get delivered by first day. http://www.amazon.com/STM-Bags-Harbour-Case-iPhone/dp/B008YRIY6S

Put a review on the Amazon site and in a Harbour thread elsewhere here, but upshot is while I like the case, it has a small issue or two. One is that it doesn't sit flat on the table, and another (unmentioned in the review) is that the hinged bit moves around just a touch on the right corner. Kinda drives me nuts.

So, I ordered another promising-looking hybrid case, the Splash Medley. Comes with a screen protector as well, which I may not need since I have Spigens on the way. http://www.amazon.com/splash-MEDLEY-Dual-Layer-Hybrid-iPhone/dp/B0095ZAWBS

Also, just because they were cheap, I ordered a couple of smaller-name super-slim cases to see if I like them better:

Photive Natural Slim Fit. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0097BZNPK
Poetic Atmosphere. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0093CDLM0

I'll post back once I receive them, think it'll be sometime next week.

I always obsess over cases when I get a new phone. I picked up a speck when I got the phone from AT&T but I hated it lol. I had a Best Buy gift card and got a black incase slider which looks great on my white i5 :)

LOL!

Ive been looking into the otterbox and it seems like the ultimate case.
Saw someone drop it from the 23rd floor on youtube and it lives..

They ship to Sweden btw? Really wanna buy this case. Plus, its pretty cheap! 50 dollars is nothing

is this true about Otterbox?
Just learned a few things about these Defender cases. Read that they could trap moisture and heat damaging the phone, also some of the defender and commuter cases they have on Amazon.com for under $20 don't fit the new 4S, the opening for the camera and flash are too small.
So beware and go to the product's website to see what the 4s product looks like first and then buy on amazon...I'll probably end up buying a case for store price once I get the phone. *sigh*

I got Incase Slider at Best Buy, didn't notice there's barely any room around the headphone port, none of my cables and headphones fit with the case on.

I got the black Belkin Micra Sheer Matte.

It is pretty good. But the edges flush with the screen. So there isn't any leading edge to keep the screen off the ground if you lay the phone face down.

- It also had very little transparency unlike the Incase Snap Case.
- The camera hole is small compared to those of say Incase or Casemate. The only downside of this is the flash that gets reflected off the sides of the hole.

Cygnett Urbanshield, $30 at Fry's. I'm a sucker for carbon fiber and always wanted a real CF case for my 4, but they were all ugly and cost too much. This one's pretty clean looking. I can't get over how small the phone is when in the case, either.

http://us.cygnett.com/iphone/iphone-5th-gen/urbanshield-1.html

It's a simple snap-on case with rubberized sides. It does have a bit of a "lip" to keep the screen off the table, and the camera hole on the back is nice and big.

I actually got it at the Sprint Corporate Store. The had a bunch of colors.
The Otterbox Commuter seems very good so far. The screen protector that comes with it is o.k., not great, but it will do until Powersupport releases there screen protectors. I already got a few complements of how nice the case is. I purchased a black one to match my black iPhone 5 32 GB.

Can you post a pic or two with your Commuter case on. Did they change the material at all? Some say the Defender went to a less tacky material which I think is a positive, but I still don't want that bulky of a case. Thanks!
