If you know the price of TSMC chip is 70% higher than samsung's, you probably will understand why Apple still order samsung's. Cuz Apple wanna force TSMC lower its price. Hope TSMC won't give in when they know this test result....

Samsung is smaller, and that usually means cheaper.

Samsung A9 = 96 mm2
TSMC A9 = 104.5 mm2

This post claims that the TSMC chip is significantly better in power consumption and slightly better in performance. Source links are in Spanish unfortunately

It's Chinese. If you install the Bing extension, then go into safari. Go under share and look for Bing translate, tick it on. Pretty good read!

My 6s plus has speaker rattle problem. I think its a software issue as Skype updated their app and it was fixed. i have TSMC chip. before coming to know that its a software issue i talked to apple and they ordered a replacement for me. Now i dont know whether i should go for the replacement or not :/

Is there anything else wrong with it? If not, I wouldn't risk it personally. It's really up to you though on that one.

there is no problem apart from that. I have Apple care+ as well. so i am thinking of skipping the replacement and sticking with the current one.

If you are otherwise happy with you TSMC why not opt to get it repaired instead of replaced if the speaker bit continues? The warranty would cover it.
