Even if the phone was smaller, the majority of consumers don’t use smart phones one-handed. If you think about it, it requires two hands to primarily text anyways, the only reason you would use your phone for ‘one-handed’ applications, would be for ‘simple scrolling’. The reality is, the larger variant makes it more difficult to manipulate one-handed, which is why I preferably like the smaller version.

And it's great that Apple makes both sizes to fit the needs and wants of everyone! I'm used to big phones as I've had the Note 8 and Note 9 so I can't go any smaller than this. I'm trying to hold off in the fall as I don't know what's gonna happen with covid-19. If not I might just get the 11 Pro Max

I prefer smaller lighter phones. I loved how the 5/5S/SE phones were super light. The 7 is lightweight also. Now I got an 11 Pro and it's a little heavier and it's almost too big to be a one-handed phone, but it still seems to be manageable. The Max would be too big for me.

I went for the 11 Pro Max as I have always liked large phones.
Actually I switched to iPhones after they started the Plus phones.
Before this I had the 8 Plus and the 6S Plus and before that I had the Note 4, Note 3 and Note 2.

I went for the Pro Max cause i prefer bigger phones for about a decade now.
Compared to my wife’s 11 Pro, battery life is better of course, but not something that you actually care. It’s just a bit more, but 11 pro’s battery life is great already.
You just choose whatever feels better in your hand/pocket and you don’t miss anything from the other one.

The battery life on this thing is just stupid, I am about to go to bed and I am sitting at 51% after a whole day of usage

I struggle to get 6 hours screen time a day on my 11 pro I’m considering an Apple store visit!

I have a 11 Pro Max, but when the time comes to change to the new hotness, I'm not sure which way I'll go.

I honestly never really use my phone one-handed, so that's a non-factor to me. However, the Pro Max really gained some weight over the Xs Max, to the point where it's quite noticeable, and that is a bit of a bummer. I will say that I do love the extra battery life though, so it's a worthwhile trade-off.

That being said, my girlfriend is using a regular 11 Pro and it just feels better in the hand in terms of size and weight. I still probably wouldn't choose it over the Pro Max simply because the screen is a tad too skinny for my tastes (I had an X and that skinniness bothered me a lot), and the 11 is missing features that I would like.

If the new 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max (or whatever they'll end up calling them) end up being slightly bigger than their 11 counterparts, I might consider downsizing...

I went with just the 11 Pro. I tried out other’s Pro Max’s and for me the size was just too unwieldy and uncomfortable. The 11 Pro fits my hand size perfectly and isn’t cumbersome. I’ve had some truly massive phones in the past, like the Nexus 6 that was so big it’s internal name was Shamu. So, still having a large screen but still being able to use it one handed is a major plus in my use case and how I use my phone.

Lol, yeah it’s something that I have also been saying since first getting my 11 Pro Max, this thing is quite heavy, and I think the issue is not really it’s weight in totality, I thing it’s the fact that the weight is really focused in a smaller area, had the 11 Pro Max been a 6.7inch screened phone I think it would have spread it’s weight a little better. As it stands it has jam packed everything in a smaller area which adds to the heftier feel.

I am also happy to have the battery life come with the heft though

Although I do worry that due to heft complaints Apple may be downsizing the Battery in the next models, I sure hope they don’t, I will take the heft any day for this incredible battery life!

This is the price paid for Stainless Steel and other Battery.
