Well this whole thread started with Matt and I being wrong, so what makes The King and I proper?
 
OK so what about "Matt and I are feeding the goats. Would any of you like to help." If you are talking to more then one person would "you" be singular.

Well, no, it would be "you" plural - unless you were offering the job to a constituent body part. "Yes, my left hand would like to feed the goat." Is it just me, or is this getting a little bizarre?

In English, it doesn't really matter since the verb would be the same regardless. And I've only heard 'yous' in broad Glaswegian. If you only wanted one volunteer out of the group though, you might have to ask if 'any one of you' wanted to help.

You'd need a ? at the end though! :p

I have a feeling the question was put in all seriousness. See above. Of course, it could be just an elaborate and protracted leg-pull...

Now, if we were still using "thou" things would be different. :)

On the other hand, "You" might just be "thou" with a mistransliterated thorn...
