Same with me. Anything short of a drastic redesign, with a larger screen, I may not even upgrade. The pictures that came out today of the supposed front panel were nothing short of disappointing..no matter what hardware it incases. I'm holding on to the fact that what we saw in those photos was the iPhone 4s (aka cheaper version).

No need to really worry though. I just can't picture Apple taking the stage at the next keynote (which is the biggest, most anticipated event since 07) and with dramatic fashion, ripping the proverbial sheet off of a brand new, sparkling,....iphone4???. After the crowd booed for 5 mins, Tim cook would come out and say "wait, wait guys...but it's faster and takes better pictures" Just no possible way that will happen. NO WAY!

So with that being said, I am preparing myself to be floored with beauty and amazement when it finally gets announced. Anything less and Apple will fall like a lead balloon in the smartphone market. Apple will never let that happen. I'm willing to bet the farm on it!

As much as it pains me this is pretty much how I feel. I just cant imagine apple taking so long to make a slight upgrade. If they do I will probably just keep my iPhone 4, but I say that pretty much every year and I always end up with the new iPhone

The A5 system on a chip :p. Everything is so bloody snappy, it's fantastic. (especially coming from a 3GS).

For me it's simple...the one thing I miss most since switching from blackberry last June...LED notification!

Screw the A5 chip -- iOS5 doesn't need it anyway. Get rid of the glass back that shatters, move to a more durable build material (like the metal backing on the iPad) and I'm sold.

No more glass!!!

I'm definitely hoping for a curved back, or at least tapered edges. The flat back of the iPhone 4 is.... too flat. As much as I agree with others about how nice the iPhone 4 looks, I never bought one because I don't like the feel of it in my hand, and especially in my pocket.

Thinner and lighter would be nice too :)

Needs a 4.5" screen. Damn Samsung Infuse spoiled the hell outta me. I don't even enjoy looking at my Atrix and that has a 4" screen.

At first I was like I absolutely do not want a bigger screen and now I can't live without it after having it for a few months.

Guess everything bigger is better.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

I want a better camera and a curved chassis. Bigger screen would be great, but wouldn't be a deal breaker for my needs.

The more time that goes by, the more I think it's going to be a 'break'.

Yeah, I think the next iPhone will probably have the same size screen given the most recent rumour. After playing with the Galaxy S 2 it's a little hard to settle on a 3.5" display again. It's hard to know with Apple, but I'm really trying to not get my hopes up.

Bigger screen
Smaller home button.
Better GPS
And the most important: Better battery life.

Edge to edge screen is bad. I keep mentioning this but no one seems to get it. It's easy to accidentally touch the sides when you're gripping the phone if the capacitative screen almost reaches the edge of the phone. It causes weird gestures all the time and it's terrible. The Nexus One (which I owned) had a smaller bezel than the iPhone and this happened a lot. It was terrible.

Currently on a 3gs, i'm actually looking forward to the curved back.

If this thing looks like a mini iPad it will be beautiful!
