White iPhone 4 Canceled?

when apple says it we all can panic then...its just rumors now but interesting to see if they do away with.....white on the iphone 4 is not bad looking at all..........but it will be funny to see if they get away from the iphone 4 white because white and black have been their only color choices so far since the 3g first came out.....hopefully this turns out to be just a rumor..
Yup. Makes more sense to hold off for the iPhone 5. I guess it would boost sales in the last quarter before the iPhone 5 release though. So who knows.
Because people most likely purchased a kit to turn your iPhone 4 into a white one.

They're black iPhone 4s who have had both the back and front panels replaced with white ones...
Doesn't matter, MILLIONS will simply go to verizon JUST to get the white iphone and if people want to purchase white pannels than good for that very small hand full of geeks willing to go through the hassle, but in the meantime Becky and her buds along with the rest of the million trend chasers are going to verizon to get them, yeah right along with the other few Million who simply prefer Verizon and want an iphone.
So NO It makes absolute perfect sense if they can justify the cost of associated with taking on a exclusive apple product.
Super hot exclusive product + loyal customers to that product line = mad $$$$$$$$

back in September, when the story broke that Steve Jobs was "Barred From Bringing Ninja Stars on Private Plane in Japan", Apple's PR discredited the story within 1 hour of the story being published. If this story of the White iPhone 4 being delayed or even cancelled all together are completely false, I think Apple PR would have definitely responded by now with some sort of Official Announcement of their is currently no update from July's announcement.

I love the way the white iPhone looks though... It's strange that light leaking into the camera affects images, I would imagine that the camera only accepts light from the lens part, which is visually isolated from the inside of the phone. But obviously the problem isn't so simple, but I'm curious about what exactly the obstacle is.

not sure they would say anything right now if it was true....that story was about steve himself .....we will have to wait and see i guess
But they just did and still, there is no progress - there is no white iPhone! At this rate, we'll never get to see a green one! What happens then?!

The white iPhone 4 has been delayed because it cant take good pictures, a source with connections at Apple tells me.
The white case leaks light back in especially when the flash is used to take pictures.

I asked this exact question the other day; if they're going to delay it again until Spring 2011, what's the point of even releasing it at all.
I'm calling it, the white iPhone 4 is going to join the PowerBook G5 in Product Purgatory.

The most irritating thing that Apple need to realize, is that there were many customers essentially waiting for the White. Their contracts were up, they grit their teeth for yet another locked in 2 year contract with AT&T, but they were WAITING for this option from inception.
So will Apple now officially cancel the white iphone 4, allow existing customers to have a new locked 18 month contract to compensate for this waiting period? Or are we to wait another 9 months for the supposed iphone 5 (with microwave and mini bar included)?
I know about twelve iphone 4 fans who have been waiting for the white, including myself obviously. Would have happily lined up like the thousands of fans to acquire a black, if there was no other color option. Black tech has never really been a first choice - too much dust and fingerprints.
So now do I order a fresh black iphone 4 off apple today? Or suffer through a slow 3g till July next year?
Bottom line. DO NOT offer a choice that was never really paramount.

Good thing. Would be silly to keep spending money on something that doesn't seem to sell much anyway... I may have seen three white 3Gs in my life, tops.
As financially successful as it has been, I have a terrible impression about the iPhone 4 and wouldn't want one in the house
Really looking forward to iPhone 5 now and forgetting about all this iPhone 4 business. Happens to everyone at some time, there's always one year that a car model is remembered as being 'the one to avoid'. Same with all products that go through this cycle.

Here in Latvia, even after it was officially available for more than month I STILL can't get one... Telia obviously doesn't want my money.
