White iPhone 4 Delayed Once Again Until Spring 2011

Oh, and just FTR I think it's pretty safe to say that the White iPhone 4 is never going to exist. Vapourware.

Spring 2011 refers to the white iPhone 5. I'm sure they'll have something worked out by then.

I am interested; however, to know, if Apple have any stocked iPhone 4s (acceptable or unacceptable to Apple's standard) and who'll end up with those in their hands?
 
What I don't understand is what's so hard about coming forward and fessing up that they can't seem to mass produce the white version exactly the same and it keeps on failing QC. That's much more easy to digest than "delayed till further notice" The first one makes the consumer realize that pushing for a release date would mean a **** iPhone4 while the latter just makes you feel like Apple's just ****ing around with us.

Sometimes, honesty is the best policy.
 
I had a funny feeling this was going to happen. Had it been released in December so I could have a good 9 months of usage, I would have got one. Looks like I'll be sticking with the 3G and waiting for the 5 next year.

My guess is that this is not about QC. It MAY have been for a few weeks at the start. But when the firestorm started over black iPhone 4 signal issues Apple realised they had released a flawed product and were not going to release a second flawed product into the market.

We know that heads rolled. They probably had an emergency meeting to see if the signal issue could be resolved without a major re-design. Decided it could not. So they will not release another phone until the signal issue is fixed with a case redesign. Therefore White iPhone 4 cannot happen and Apple have known this for months.

Apple is now cynically pushing out delivery in small increments like a carrot on a stick to stop the ladies defecting to another brand.

This is what i think also. I was waiting from the summer to get an iphone 4 white and now i feel so betrayed .. No iphone 4 white is going out during the spring. Whats the point of releasing a new iphone 4 model then when it will only be 1-2 months before iphone 5 comes out?

I am so pissed that i will either get an android or i will stick with my iphone 3gs for another 6 months..
 
I have had a iPhone 3G White, actually it was awesome, but i dont like white front it looks ugly, and like its fake or made of plastic..
i cant wait getting ip4 black:)
 
I'm a bit pissed off having waited for it, however, i'd be even more pissed off if it arrived and it had an issue with the antenna. Or any other issue after waiting for so long for that matter.

I'm not even considering buying it now unless they bang 64GB of memory into it at the same price in the spring.

If not i'll wait for iPhone 5. Truth is i'll probably wait for it anyway!

I guess there are problems with the materials not being capable of standing the heat of the device. This reminds me of the G5 Laptop... Never released because of too much heat. Core 2 Duo as well is still around in laptops...

What if the A4 chip has already hit the boundary of its technological capabilities? What if development is stagnating? What comes next? Back to the PPC? A new RISC-Processor? I would love that. Let's talk about transitions. :) You heard it here first.

Now, back to the topic. Might as well... having a smile on my face, not being affected by any news related to any iPhone whatsoever.
 
You suck Apple! I've been waiting patiently for the white iPhone 4 to come out, even as the value of my iPhone 3G continues to dwindle. I guess by the time I get to buy my white iPhone 4, I couldn't even give my iPhone 3G away...

The only way my frustration will be appeased is if Apple gives me a free fully-loaded 11-inch MacBook Air! :p
 
This is crazy! So, by the time the iphone 4 comes out it will be old technology. Everyone (including myself) will be awaiting an iphone 5 release in June. Something tells me that Apple is not telling us what their exact plans are with the mysterious white iphone. And--it wouldnt make sense to make a white version of a device that came out a year ago! Oh wait, didn't they change up the color of the Wii after a year? lol.
 
Really don't know why anyone cares... white phones look cheap and nasty, and the white iPhone photos we've seen so far are no exception.

Weird that no official statement has been posted yet on the website.
Although they do have one regarding the new Chinese online store.
Why would Apple communicate such an announcement to Reuters before making an official statement ?

I'm finally ready to upgrade my phone, but at this point, I might as well wait for the iPhone 5. Possibly even Verizon.

My wife wants me on Sprint with her, and keeps wooing me with the Evo and Epic, which blow away my original iPhone. Sprint does have the best prices in the US, and their network is the best in my area.
