Definitely like the white more, finger prints don't show nearly as much as they did with my black and it just overall looks more sleek and modern. I find the home button to be more responsive on the white than my black, but that probably just has to do the home button starting to go bad on the black from so much usage.

I agree that the screen was more vibrant with the black bezel but I don't think it deters from the phone's usability. One wouldn't really even notice unless they do a close comparison in my opinion.

All in all, I'm really glad this phone finally came out, I was very pleased to finally get rid of my black phone to fund this purchase as I originally had my heart set on getting a white one on launch day. I really am glad Apple is starting to incorporate white versions in their products again and I hope they continue to do so.

This man knows what he is talking about. Listen to him people!

Gives an honest answer without being biased. Thanks sordan :)

I would agree with everything in this assessment as well. White iPhone is a stand-up phone.

my girl has had the black one for a while and i was waiting on my finished contract with sprint for the white one (i just KNEW it would come out eventually!) and finally grabbed one thursday. so far i am really digging this up close in hand compared to the black. dont get me wrong, the black was the reason i even wanted an iphone 4 but when i saw the white my mind was made up. oh and my girl always hated the white but today she told my friend she was a bit jealous of it.

just like with the white iPad you see minor flaws and blemishes much more easily.

my girlfriend's white iPhone has MINOR(!) scuffs on a small portion of the frame around the front glass.
You wouldn't see those on a black phone, really.

Just like you wouldn't see the minor irregularities in gaps between glass and framing on the black iPad and they're much more visible on the white one.

But as others have pointed out before: White makes fingerprints and specks of dust far less visible.

Still. If you're OCD about your device and you'd freak out and would go return it 14 times if you received a phone with minor imperfections, don't get the white one, as you'll almost always find something, if you look REALLY hard ;)

I had my white iPhone for the first time out on the sun and I can say that it looks amazing. There is no comparison to the black one. :)
I also noticed that the bezel near the screen is not as bright white as the rest of the phone. If you look real hard you will see that this is because the screen frame seems to be directly underneath and its black color causes this effect. It is nothing to worry about, I would just prefer a uniform bright white.

I am not sure if I like the color more. The reason I got it was to just have a different color than my wife.

went yesterday after worked checked it out to see in person and its fugly..it looks like a Chinese knock off..i dont like it..i was thinking of getting it when it was going to come out on launch day but got delayed due to issues glad i got the black one..next iphone will be black for sure:cool::apple:as for the thickness you cant really tell when holding it or eye balling it..

I went and looked at launch day and really wasn't liking it to well. I thought about it all night and then went back the next day and got it. After having it for almost 2 days I am glad I switched. The phone just has a very clean look to it. Very sleek. I think once I got my case situation sorted out I think it will be better than the black. We have both in the family so I can honestly say that now I actually prefer the white and my wife does as well. It really grows on you fast! As far as screens and all that, I can see no difference what so ever, even when they are side by side. They are identical screens.

I agree completely. I saw one in person today and it does look like it was a knock off version made overseas (and very girly). the white iphone just isn't "right" looking. Black looks so much cleaner to me.

Wow, the white doesn't look too bad actually. I'll have to check it out in person. It doesn't have the "shininess" of a black one though :(

I really like mine. Especially the no finger prints part. The screen doesn't seem to much different from my black. You can HARDLY tell a difference between the two of them doing side by side comparisons. I am really glad I got it.

I was just wondering if the .2mm difference is all hype or if you can ACTUALLY feel the difference just by holding it naked?

I fell for Steves lie at the keynote when he offered black and white, so I promised my girlfriend a white one.

When they were released I had no choice but two blacks.

A few days ago I got her the white one. It operates so much better than the black. The improved antenna is shocking, call quality is so good that I just bought one for myself today.

My case is black so it covers all but the front.

Now this is a phone worthy of the Apple name. Finally I have an iPhone that makes calls. A phone I can be proud of. I knew Apple could do it.

They just got lazy with the original black ones. Most people denied the problem cause they were embarrassed. When I spoke the truth the fan boys got their kicks bashing my posts. It was very interesting to hear their excuses.

The bottom line is the white iPhones are really great performers. I'm really happy with these two.

love the white . had the black. i have a white ipad2 and the macbook pro so it goes well with it . always wanted the white and it look gorgeous

Like it a lot. Still feels weird having a white iPhone...been used to black for a while now.

When I put it on my bed (white bed sheets) sometimes takes me a couple of seconds to find it :(

I am using a white iPhone since Friday and I haven't noticed any differences in call quality or signal.

Yes, I paid 629€ for the white iPhone. It is unlocked and can be used on any GSM network all over the world. I bought it at the Applestore in Munich.
I don't know what the pictures will show that isn't already available on the Internet. I made a small video on the day I bought it from my hotel room in Munich. It isn't anything special but it shows the phone pretty good.

Anyone else noticing their white iPhones losing battery at an increased rate relative to the black ones? My white iPhone seems to be losing 2% of its battery for every 1% my old black unit loses it. Anybody else?

Thanks foot the video, do you plan on using a case or skin with the white iPhone ? I think I may have to get white and sell my black too

You've only had your white iPhone a couple of days, takes longer than that to condition the battery the way you have conditioned the black one already.

I don't like cases. I use Apple iPod socks when I carry my iPhone. It fits perfectly and the phone stays protected.
