Ive had my white iPhone for 3 days now and havent used it till today because I put on a front and back screen protector.

I already noticed the plastic bezel between the glass and the antenna gets dirty fast. Ive still been babying this phone and I cant believe this. Any ideas how to keep this white area clean?

Otherwise I love the phone. I didnt think id prefer it to black, but side by side its no contest!

You should get a black case to cover your white iPhone. That way it won't get dirty. :D

This is why I'd never go for another white iphone. I had to get the iphone 3G in white, because that was all that was available on launch day (for 16 GB). It got grimy so quickly, I resolved to never get white again; also, it wasn't that attractive.
The front and back white glass is fine. It's the matte white plastic finish that seems to attract dirt. For the most part I could remove the dirt but I didn't feel like having to do that daily.

I returned my phone already because I didn't like seeing the dirt/grime collecting on the phone. Otherwise I thought the color looked great!

I've had my white iPhone for just over a week, used it a lot! No dirt gathering on it anywhere. It has a clear Belkin case on it and a screen protector but used it for the first couple of days without these and still no dirtiness.

Maybe it's cause I'm a girl and my hands are cleaner :D

The edges (the matted white rim) does get dirty if you don't put some kind of case on it. I have no problem with this as my case protects it. White is fresh :)

Sadly, i've seen iPad 2s which have a hint of yellow. I feel that will be the case for white iPhone 4s as well.
It's weird because it's not like Apple never launched a white product before..

I think black is the best way to go, it looks great and has needs low maintenance.

Me too. (Though I've had both the screen protector and Belkin since day one.) My phone looks fantastic!

I'm a girl (well, old girl) and my hands are clean too. I'll bet that's it!;):D:):p

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

I just looked at my iPhone that I've have for a week and never cleaned, and it has no dirt there

:D Reckon so ;)

ive had my white iphone since the day it came out and have no problems with it getting dirty one bit

Had mines since it came out and no dirt either. I had a drop of pasta sauce fall on it and no stains. Maybe you have minor scuffs that look like dirt but rub off?

Ive had my white iPhone for over a week.. I've been caseless, screent protectorless.. And I have NO DIRT.. looks just as good and just as sexy as before.. I even went horseback riding with it today.. No dirt..

Is it just me or does the white iPhone take better pictures than the black?

Silicone Spray

Yeah I know where people are coming from on this one. I guess it's because of the matte texture on the white edge.

Naive to think that something white and matte will stay that way forever, it will get dirty slowly.

When deciding on which iPhone to purchase I decided to go with white for the challenge. :D Nah not really, I thought that it was fully covered in glass.

However, I also use a quick dry silicone spray protectant to protect my white sneakers and they have stayed quite clean. Considering that these are shoes, that's a damn good accomplishment.

So the spray coats a thin layer of silicone on the surface of the material to stop moisture and tiny specs of dirt from making it's way through the micro pores of the matte material.

So tonight, i'll be masking up the holes and glass and will go nuts with the spray. :apple:

I really hope that 0 in $150 is a typo and you meant to say $15

Otherwise that is truly ridiculous spending that much on a case
Nope...$150 is correct. I paid $129 for the Element Vapor Pro and it is PHENOMENAL! Pricey? Yeah...but I freaking love the case...to me, it was well worth it, but I can understand why it wouldn't be to others.

Okay, I obviously don't get it.
Someone needs to explain this madness to me.
WHHHYYYYYY????

macbook

I have the first generation Intel Macbook and it almost immediately became discolored. More than the typical discoloring of a white surface. It's not like I was coming home from a job in the mine shaft every day. I worked in an office and the thing never left my apartment, so I kind of figured this would happen with a white phone that bounces around your pocket all day.
