White or Black? Pros and Cons

I can't decide which colour to get... I would like to get the black but I heard it might scratch/smudge easily. Anyone else have any pros and cons for the two colours?
 
Black
Pros:
Looks sharper

Cons:
Will show scratches more
Will be much more common


White
Pros:
Won't show scratches as much
Most think it looks feminine (Pro if you're a female)
Will be a lot less common than black

Cons:
Will show dirt easier
Most think it looks feminine (Con if you're a male)


Personally I'm going for black because I like the way it looks.
 
Black:

Pros: It is available in the UK. Cool, sleek looking colour.

Cons: Smudges, fingerprints etc. will show up a LOT.

White:

Pros: It is the original Apple colour. Likely to not show up smudges as much as the black (although they will still show).

Cons: It is not available in the UK!!! Unbelievable.
 
I was planning on getting the white one for my wife and black one for my self. This my wife and I can switch if we get sick of the color.

Then a thought... I bought a white InCase Slider case for my first gen. iPhone cause I liked the look. If that's the case, I think I would be happy with the white one.

I agree... white isn't feminine. Pink is.

I owned the first 3 generations of the iPod, all of which were white. I also have a white MacBook.

No one has ever accused me of being feminine.
 
Black

Pro: its an iphone

Con: Its not free

White

Pro:
1) Its an iphone
2) if you wipe your a** with it you can tell if your clean.

Con:
1) I if you wipe your a** with it you will change its color.

Black:
Will be hotter to the touch of the human hand in the Sun

White:
Will be cooler to the touch of the human hand in the Sun than the black iPhone 3G

Black: My wife says it's too expencive.

White: My wife will pinch it for herself

Best stick to back and put up with the whining. I can always put the headphones on. 😀
 
Honestly, I'm a guy, and I'm totally digging the white one, it will match my macbook so thats a pro for me, however, Apples lineups and computers in the future will be based on the current iMac design, in other words gun metal black, shiny glossy black, and brushed/polished aluminum, I have a feeling future iPhones will follow the black and metal designs that the first one had and what the second one lacks. We all know Apples designs are beautiful but they tend to follow in each others footsteps. I'm a design guy, it's all about the looks and how it works, but when it comes to which color, go white, it will stand out more.

Technically the black phone would change colours too, or else I'd consult a doctor.
 
Im very excited for the white
every apple product I own (and I own more than I should) is white
Apple's color is white. I don't like that they're going to black. Even going all alluminum is pushing it

you can think its feminine. I just think its BA
