White or Black

White of course. Black looks very, very boring. The distraction of the border is nonsense to me.

White so it wouldn't be confused with most android tablets. :D

Not really, I like them both but could only afford one and the family consensus was get the white one.

I was hoping to get a black iPad at Best Buy they didn't have any so all they had were white so I went ahead and bought that and I can't be more pleased with it. I got the red smart cover and it looks amazingly Apple-esq. The bezel doesn't distract me at al from watching content and after a few days of use I'm glad Best Buy didn't have any blacks.

I went for the white iPad. It goes along really well with the dark grey smart cover. I do a lot of reading on the iPad and the white blends in better with the white pages. And finally, I simply prefer white over black.

The content pops-out on black. That's why most TVs have black bezels.

Also, when reading books, there's a black line transition from white bezel to black border to white page. That's annoying. I rather have a distinct, single transition.

I always order black because I want to take the emphasis off of the device itself and focus on the actual use (what's on the screen). I'm a design minimalist at heart - its why I like Apple stuff.

With that said, I often secretly admire the iPads with the beautiful white bezel but I still know my choice was the right one.

I got white because I have a white iPhone and I love them, my brother got black (he wanted white), and my dad got white.

My dad personally didn't care because as he says 'he doesnt care about the colour he just wants to use it', which I think makes a lot of sense!! :)

White. I mainly use it for reading so white makes the most sense as it blends in very well, black would stand out for the wrong reasons. I watch pps streams in the dark in bed with lights off so white bezel is a non issue for me.

I personally find white attractive and classier looking than plain old vanilla black, like the rest of my home electronics.

Black...
My 1st iPad. :D
I thought I wanted white, ordered it and then canceled after I went into the store for a look..
I've been back in the store 3 times since, and each time I see the black next to the white I feel better about my choice.. The white seems to stand out to me while the black seems quieter..less distracting.

I went with white. Doesn't show fingerprints as much as black. I typically use the iPad for web browsing and email. I prefer reading black text on white background. Easier on my eyes.

I've had two black iPad's and this time I went white. I totally love the white and prefer it over the black many times over. The black looks so nasty after a short while with fingerprints whereas the white doesn't show it nearly as bad.

The distraction of the border was a concern, but it turns out that was bunk!

I also switched to a white iPhone this last time too and like it better as well.
