Is it worth it?

Oh ok. Interesting that they decided to do this. I guess just an added bonus for getting the Hermès.

Was any able to get the single tour with the deployment buckle? All I saw was unavailable.

Managed to snag one after ordering the phones, about 10-12 mins after pre-orders opened, delivery date of oct 3-7

Also Preordered last night with the delivery date of Oct 3-7

Got a 42mm Feu

Was going to go with the deployment buckle AND order the Feu band separately but it said the Feu band by itself was unavailable when I tried to order last night. And Feu is the one I really want.

Now to track down a Series 1 cuff somehow!

You might have to pay a big price for that cuff. They were expensive when the Hermès first came out. Now that they don't make them anymore, people are going to charge a lot for them.

I agree. I hope to see that ceramic model in the store to see if its at all worth it.

If anyone on the forum owns a Hermes apple watch, you will be sad to find out they are offering orange sport bands now with each Hermes Apple Watch series 2 they sell. Look on their website :(. I always needed a rubber band for sport activities and this would have been perfect

I also notice that in the picture showing the orange band, the numerals are orange. Does anyone know if this option (change numeral color) will be available in OS3 for those of us who currently own an original Hermès ⌚️?

The orange numbers are available in WatchOS 3. It's only the numbers though. The date complication stays grey.

its also not the same orange, unfortunately.

i'm currently wearing the old orange, and it's nothing like i'd imagine the hermes one would be. this one is much darker.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before LNKOO and all the other 3rd party band sellers match the Hermes color exactly, or nearly so.

Anyway, I pre-ordered the 38mm single tour with the red band for my wife. Says shipping "within 2 weeks" for delivery "On September 30".

I ordered at about 6:30 a.m. EST.

I doubt they had a large supply of the Hermes versions to start with. Somewhere on here I posted that my wife's Hermes was scheduled for Oct but I was incorrect, the actual date she got was 9/30

My story on the Hermès Series 2:

Yesterday I got a call from Hermes Munich that my reservation for a Apple Watch Series II, SS Single Tour Barenia with folding buckle arrived and was ready for shipment but also yesterday after visiting the Apple Store Amsterdam I decided to buy another AW Series 2, the Apple Watch Series 2 Space Black with rubber band and an extra black nylon band.

As I own the Hermès original Apple Watch (and would never sell it) buying yet another steel watch would not justify the cost of almost € 1600, and if I would own the series 2, I would never wear the original Hermès again.

So soon I will have best of both worlds: an original Hermès with leather straps and a Series 2 with rubber and nylon.

With Series 3 it is time to have a careful look at the next Hermès again :)

I am going to do that as well. Too bad the space black does not look good with the steel lugs from the Hermes

I tried the combinations in the Apple Store - and although all a matter of taste - the black steel AW looks awesome with a black nylon band and also with a Product Red one. I will now also have a true sport watch :)

Can you use your backup data from your Hermes watch to load the previous watch faces (restore) the Hermes version to a new series 2 (and beyond) watch? For example "make" and Hermes ceramic watch?

No. the faces are programmed into the OS itself.

Please update with some pictures, once you get it. I'm still on the fence, which one I should get. Thanks.

Got really lucky. Found a mint condition Original series 42mm Hermes AW with Cuff bracelet and Hermes Apple box for under $600. Watch and cuff strap. The strap itself, when it was available, was $690. Think I did pretty well, eh?
