Who else plans to get the Apple Watch Hermès?

You guys must be really old!!! People don't type at computers anymore we just use our thumbs!

jk, I'm pretty I rest my wrist while typing so that explains why the loops are so frayed, have to pay more attention while typing. I don't know how the top of the band by the face was damaged but I admit I'm not too careful with my Apple Watch at all. Going to replace the band soon.

I agree that if I ever get a Hermes band, I'd probably keep it for special occasions. But ever since I got my 12.9 iPad Pro, I just don't spend much time typing on a physical keyboard any more, so no worries about wearing out my band by rubbing it against the keyboard! :D

I feel the exact opposite. If I pay this much for a strap, I am wearing the hell out of it. It's the best strap I have, and the most comfortable. No reason not to use the crap out of it.
 
The biggest issue I see in the Hermes straps are that they are sized smaller than other Apple bands. Even the 42mm only goes up to 195mm!
 
Has anyone replaced their Single Tour 42mm band in black? I can't seem to find it on Apple's website.

Apple no longer list the black as a band for the Apple Watch. You will have to take it to Hermès to see if they can repair it, or if they would replace it.

Not me. Well as of right now. GPS does not excite me, and the screen seems cool but I don't know if it's worth the money just for a brighter screen.

The Ceramic looks amazing, but it's very limited in what bands you can use. I sure can't use my Hermès band with it. It's looks amazing though.

I agree. I hope to see that ceramic model in the store to see if its at all worth it.

If anyone on the forum owns a Hermes apple watch, you will be sad to find out they are offering orange sport bands now with each Hermes Apple Watch series 2 they sell. Look on their website :(. I always needed a rubber band for sport activities and this would have been perfect

Yeah I really want to see it in person too!

Can't you buy the orange sports band?
 
Was looking at the Hermes Series 2. Kind of bummed that the old cuff seems to be gone now. I do not like the new cuff with the double buckle on it.

It seems like Apple has really limited their band options across the board. Not really sure why though.
 
Will you be able to pre order the Hermès series 2, or will these be like the first one that you have to get it at Hermès or select Apple stores?

I wouldn't be too sure of that. The stainless connectors might look cool with the white. And the white and leather? Well, depending on the color of the leather might be great.

You can buy one from a 3rd party in any number of colors for $10 on Amazon. The LNKOO's are very high quality as these go.

They didn't say to my knowledge. If I were a betting man I'd guess that this time we will be able to pre-order them. We'll see...

You think the SS links would look good with the Ceramic white? Just in my mind that looks terrible. That is the only thing that would keep me from trying it out. I want to use all my bands with it. I have a ton.
 
I don't know that it'll look good. I'm just keeping an open mind, and in the grand scheme of things white and polished silver don't exactly clash in my mind. You could always hit a store to see it in person and try it with one of your bands. That's what I plan to do...

Yeah see the issue is, I will want it day one. That means pre ordering it along with the iPhone 7 tonight at 3am. No time to see it in person. Maybe just order it and see what I think and return it if I don't like it.
 
You're hilarious. Why don't you just order both the SS and ceramic, and return one based on what you find?

You can pre-order it. However, supplies of the old Hermes were always tight. Macworld said it ships the 23rd (a week after the other models).
 
I think I'll pass on the Apple Watch Hermes Series 2. The current one still works great for what I use it for. I definitely would never swim with an Apple Watch on and I wouldn't use the GPS feature. If I could buy just the hardware without the bands then perhaps, but I don't want to spend another $1200 for a brand new set.

its also not the same orange, unfortunately.

i'm currently wearing the old orange, and it's nothing like i'd imagine the hermes one would be. this one is much darker.

Oh ok. Interesting that they decided to do this. I guess just an added bonus for getting the Hermès.

Was any able to get the single tour with the deployment buckle? All I saw was unavailable.
