Carrier Who else will be braving their local carrier store?

I am trying to get a 7 regular/matte black in 32, but will settle for whatever GB my VZW has.

My plan was to get here about 3 am, but I woke up like 1230 am to go to bathroom and I have my alarm set for 2:15am and I figured I probably will have a hard time going back to sleep so I might as well brush my teeth and head over. With my luck if I got here at 3am it would have been 20 people already in line. Lol

Ya this store never gets many people according to manager they either come at 10PM or early in the morning so 3AM is still early enough I hope. The store is only 10 minutes away.

At my local Verizon store in Palmdale CA just two of us in line. Was told earlier that they hadn't received any plus models in any color but told that since we are number one we should be good to get dips on what we would like. They have 7s in all colors they said no jb but one employee told us you'll be surprised in the morning. Guess we most wait.

Ya that is why I am heading out at 3AM since the store is 10 minutes away i will get ready and leave at 3:00 it only takes 10 minutes max to get there, even less if there is no traffic. Plus once I get there if is no one I will txt the other 2 people who are also coming down to the store. The manager of this store told me they have some +'s but they don't know what color or storage capacity.

I will I am actually going so that I hope I can get my parents iPhones since my Jet Black 7+ from Verizon is shipping and will come in the mail today. I need to get a 7+ 128 rose gold & 7 128 Black. I am going to bring a extra smart phone to use as a hotspot.

Well here's to us both getting surprised! I'm first in line at my store and what I was looking for was a matte black 7 plus 128gb, which they unfortunately didn't have. They have 1 jet black 7 but I don't know if I should settle or just get a silver plus then sell it or return it when I find what I want.
I'm hoping there's one black 7 plus hiding in the box somewhere, that they just didn't notice lol
Would be insanely awesome if another shipment came in at 6am
 
In our area our lines have been quite short. There is just a few people at the apple stores at 10PM and Verizon stores are quite empty at that time too.
 
I'm in line at a large corporate ATT store in SE MI and am the only one here save one guy in a car. This store is always well-stocked on launch day so I've got hope for a black (either one) 7+...

Here's to waiting...

Cool brotha. There is no Apple Store where I am in West Texas, and the VZW I am at always seems empty every time I go there.

I have only lined up once before and that was for the iPhone 6/6+ launch but I did at the apple store and I went at 5:30 PM and stayed there till the store opened at 8AM to get my phone. So this my first time I stood in line at a carrier store.

I don't think I can do a Apple Store launch line unless I had some friends to wait with me. But shoot as long as you got what you came for, mission complete my friend.
 
Laid in bed and thought about whether a new phone is worth leaving my warm bed for. Couldn't sleep at all.

Planning to head out in about 15-20mins. I still think it's too early, but hey, who knows

I would take the 7 in jb if they have it you could make a small fortune off it, I would totally take it if I was you.
 
At my local corporate Verizon store. Just arrived here and I'm 3rd in line at 0300. The guy who is 1st said that he spoke to the staff here at 2100 hours and they said they had 0 + models. I guess the wife is going to get her iP7 before me. Fort Wayne, In.

wow 3 people by 3AM, I hope that is not the case at our local store there was no body there at 10PM

I was thinking about it, but my dad would get pretty pissed at me for buying 2 phones even if I was gonna sell one lol and if I was to buy it with my own money I'd rather not have $8-900 tied up for the next few weeks, and in the end have my money be in paypal. Is there a way to get it into your bank account from PayPal? I'm estimating if I did do this I'd get at least 300$ in profit right?

You link your bank account to your PayPal, then it takes a few days to transfer money to it. Also you could probably sell it for double at the moment. Maybe more when the masses realize they can't get a jet black anytime soon.

Really double? Honestly I'd be happy with $500 lol
So how long would you say it would take for the money to be back in my bank account? If it sells tomorrow.

Also, since it's just me can I buy 2 phones outright at an AT&T store?
Even if one isn't attached to a number?
