iPad Who got a perfect screen on the Air 2?

I've got a DL that is extremely cool, white, vibrant, and perfect - in fact it's going to be very very tough to beat this screen on my next iPad.

I do not understand why most DL iPads (iPad 3, Air 1, and Air 2) I've see are terrible. Most of them are pinkish.

I just set up my sister Christmas present, iPad Air 2 Silver Wifi Only 64 GB, and It is extremely perfect. Its screen is cool white, light distortion, and non-shadow. It is even more perfect than mine. Needless to say, it is a DM iPad.:D
 
I have a DL, received from an Apple store as a replacement device, with a cool, white, reasonably consistent screen. I'm quite happy with it.
 
Finally opened the two Air 2 iPads Christmas morning. Both "perfect" screens with no apparent light leak or dead pixels. Both sreens look nicely uniform. My first iPad purchase I don't need to do the return dance. :D
 
I THOUGHT I had a perfect screen on my Launch Air 2 Silver, DL, until I just bought a Space Gray November production Air 2, DM, and did a side by side. The launch is a bit hazy and yellow in comparison. The newer one is white and sharp. Silver is going back

I received my iPad Air 2 Space Gray 64GB WiFi only with a perfect screen for Christmas. It was purchased at Costco. It also has a DM Serial No.
 
not all the DMs are perfect, incidentally. I had two DMs in my hands, one of which is maybe 95% perfect and the other of which has some yellow and bookspine.

I was gifted a iPad Air for Christmas. So I don't know where it was purchased but it's a DM perfect screen :)
 
Got 2 Airs. Late Nov/December batch. Both DMs and both have perfect screens identical to each other. They are not too blue or pink but have just right colors.

I'd definitely want another screen like the bottom one, that's why I'm reluctant to upgrade my Air, it has one of the best screens I've ever seen on an iDevice, and I had to do a few exchanges to get it. Don't settle for one of those dull, yellowish screens when you know how much better they can be.
 
I think the screen on the Air 2 is always going to have an issue when compared to anything else, due to the anti-reflective coating. There are already people complaining that the black devices don't look as good with the screen off because you can now see a contrast between the black bezel and the slightly blueish screen glass with the anti-reflective coating.
 
I got an iPad Air 2 DL through Amazon and it seemed fine until I noticed a white speck that I think is a dead pixel. It also seems to lag at times even when I reset it and I swear the camera is a little fuzzy. I love having cool, white screens so I've tried to ask Apple stores and Apple.com for a DM replacement but no one really gives a straight answer or will check. I could return through Amazon and find a seller with a DM if it is really that worth it. My closet Apple store is 2 hours away so I don't know.
 
I have to say, I don't like the anti-reflective coating. I wish Apple would give you a choice of iPads with or without it.
 
I have a DM iPad air 2 64 gb lte gold from T-Mobile and the screen is flawless........I think people are right about the DM iPads :D

Believe me, there are people here that could find defects also in your device, no matter the serial number :rolleyes:

^ on the other side, we have people that will defend Apple no matter what. Pink, yellow, distorting, vibrating, it's all good and by disign ;).
 
Especially the yellow part. if any other company has anything that you can call yellow on the screen, the unit is defect and the whole company is going to fall because they cant do it right. But piss on your apples devices is so amazing and acceptable feature in the screen lottery game... Buy a ticket, wait to see if the unit comes from the dm, dl, xx factory and be surprised! Did you win? Something i cant never understand totally but i do somehow understand it because that is the quality you have got used to with apple.

I was lucky, got "dm" devices and both have good displays...

Yes, I get sick of the perpetual deniers. No matter how valid the issue, there are those who don't even own the device who will say everything is just perfect.

No one deny your iPad could be defective.
Not all iPads are, since I personally saw many without any issue.
 
The Apple specialist people are super rude about asking about the serial number. Theyre all like don't believe what you read online and we won't tell you what is in stock.
 
After a close inspection my iPad air 2 64gb space grey, I have determined that this is the most perfect panel I have seen on an iOS device. And I am pretty hard to please haha. DL serial if that matters to anyone :apple:
