Dropped each iPhone since original 1-2 times. Never a physical damage of crack or water though.

just dropped it earlier on marble tile. sounded like it broke, but everything is all well.

just had to reboot cause it said no sim card.

naked iphone

I finally did...it fell face down on the carpet, despite my dive to save it. Not a jot of damage.

It was on one of those alloy stands.....the angle caused the fall. Anybody want a just mobile iPhone stand? I'm looking for something that won't pitch over on its front!

haha dont be paranoid. just the other day a basketball air balled and hit my phone outta my phone hittting the concrete and didnt crack. Like a boss

My 4S hasn't been dropped yet.

My old 4 was dropped about 5 mins after I bought it. Foolishly opened the box without setting it down on a table and it dropped 5 feet onto a tile floor, just put a ding in the plastic surround on the top left corner thankfully!

Doh.

I'm so paranoid about dropping my new iphone 4s or it getting water damage. :(Anyone have the perfect case or have never dropped their phone?

I don't really see a point to thread where people are saying "yes I've dropped my phone... No I've never dropped my phone..." Hows that help you? Just because someone has never dropped their phone before doesn't mean their never going to. And water damage... You would have to be pretty careless for that to happen in most cases. If your scared, get an otterbox. But most silicone cases will do pretty good for drop protection. Even my vapor pro protected my phone from a decently bad drop with no damage luckily.

I have lifeproof. thanks

Apple has replaced two iphones with shattered screens (from dropping the device). They didnt charge me for either replacement.... love their service! :D

I have had all the iPhone models in the past 5 years and I've never dropped one of them. With the 4 and the 4S I was afraid I would drop it, but until now it has not happened yet,..

When not in use on the go I have it in a leather sleeve, but also never dropped that one :)

**knock on wood**

Also, it wasn't meant to HELP me, I started the thread out of curiosity. Jeeze

Ha thats awesome. I've been dropping mine like crazy( not on purpose) and my lifeproof case has held up pretty well. I dropped it 15ft the other day and it survived! Phone still looks brand new.

With the 4 I had dropped it onto cement twice from waist height. Had a bumper style case and there was no damage to the phone. Had also dropped it many more times onto carpet from ~ 2 feet (about lap height while sitting in a chair). No damage as well.

With the 4s, I have only dropped it onto carpet (probably ~10-15 times). Again, no damage with a bumper style case.

Haven't dropped any of my iPhones yet (3G, 3GS, 4, 4S), although I did wanna throw my phone at someone once. Glad I didn't do it. lol...

I dropped my 3GS once, and a feature phone a few years before that, but haven't dropped any phone since then.

I've had all the iPhones and drop experiences with each. With the 4/4s I've used the apple bumper which has faired well for me. Most recently I air balled my phone into my jeans pocket coming out of the liquor store. Took a nasty bounce on the concrete but was fine thanks to the bumper.

My worst drop was after spending $599 on the original iPhone and dropping it while trying on a case at the Apple Store. It hit the wood floor with a thud, bounced a few times, and caused about 20 people to make an "ohhhhhh" sound. It was fine... but embarrassing.

Each iPhone design has made me feel different about cases and potential drops. The original iPhone scared me because I was always afraid that the back would end up looking like one of my old iPods (scratched beyond belief). The 3G/3GS made me much less paranoid (I just used a slip sleeve in my pocket and naked otherwise). I think this was because of the plastic back on it just made me less nervous. The 4/4S scares me like the original one. Glass on both sides and a metal band? I know I'm going to drop it at some point an it just doesn't seem like it will fair well.

I just dropped mine about 1 feet when getting out of my mini, slipped out of my pocket. It dropped on the concrete hitting the side of my draco IV. No major damage, jut light scratch on my draco IV. This shouldnt happened though, I guess that is what cases meant for.

I keep dropping mine!

It's not that big of a deal, it has approximately a 2 years life expectancy anyway :p

So far, no *knocks on wood*

I've dropped phones before, and now take some serious precautions (though never out of my way) to prevent that. Little stuff, like which pocket will not let it slide out, NEVER put phone on lap in car... cause when I get out, I will forget and phone will slide, always know where phone is, etc.

Especially if u are wearing those basketball shorts(silky), it is very likely to slide out of ur pocket. I dropped my iphone 4s and Blackberry at the same time *GOSH*

Went from a 1st Gen -> 3Gs -> 4S.

Had a case for the first two iPhones and got one for the 4S.
Never dropped my phone since day one.

Been naked for the past 4 weeks and will continue to to do.
Design and form is way too attractive to stay hidden.
