2800 tracks, 13.6 gigs

i go through periods of adding and trimming back my playlist

quoting myself seems weird but its interesting to compare where I was at a year and a half ago.

currently:

3704 tracks, 19.63 gigs

I need to get rid of some tracks, I don't want to go over 20 gigs just yet!
Its time for: PODCAST Search and Destroy!!!

I am interested to see how big some of your libraries are in iTunes, anyone beet 100GB? thats 50x my library (5.89GB)

Ah, I noticed this morning I have 98.5GB... only on a 120GB disk... time to expand.

I just passed 30,000 songs yesterday. (A big celebration for me) It's about 150 gigs. My roomate says I have WAY TOO MANY songs in my library but I really don't see how that is possible. :D

Well, in my music library, I have 1026 songs, 2.5 days, 2:14:40:57 total time, 3.66 GB. I'd have a little more, but I just deleted most of one album because it sucked, lol. I have mostly 128 kbps mp3's, because I'm not an audiophile, but none under 128 because then you can really start to tell that it sucks.

In my entire library (which includes podcasts and videos), I have 1110 items, 2.7 days, 2:19:22:12 total time, 4.76 GB. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a 30GB iPod, but my laptop HDD is only 20GB so I have a backup of my computer on my iPod. Everything my computer could ever hold can fit on my iPod with 10GB to spare. :D

I definitely don't win in the biggest iTunes library contest. I'm in the lower percentile I guess.

Mostly legal... my dad and i have something like 900 cd's, but theyre not all on the computer, since my computer died and he cheaped out with the 80 gig hard drive...

Also, alot are live concerts, so theyre in WMA or a really high bitrate, because if you go too low in mp3 the quality really begins to decrease on something that was allready not great...

But hey... i only have a 30 gig ipod, so untill I upgrade, its ok to only have 35 gigs of music, right?

EDIT: sorry about putting it as an attachemt!!!

My library is a bit goofy. I have a mixture of Apple Lossless files, MP3s, and 128 kbit AAC versions of the Apple Lossless files for my iPod. Altogether, my library comes to 42.73 GB.

As a technical curiosity aside: how do you rip vinyl?
plug your record player into a receiver and then into your imput on your computer instead of speakers. Then record with anything (garageband won't work unless a program like soundtrack is open. don't ask why).
