15828 79 days of music baby!!! How did I do?
you must have some reeeeeeally long songs to be at 79 days with only 15,828 files...

I don't know, does seem kinda wierd but thats what Itunes says. I mean a good chunk is 80's metal and we know they are about 4 min each.

i had a similar disconnect with some badly ripped tracks that were initially listing as 0 seconds, and skipped thru as soon as you played them, but then reset the time to 47 hours or so, each...

I had about 1500 songs, don't need much more than that, now I am re-ripping everything in AIFF, sounds better to me than AAC. I've only done a couple albums, and its already at 14gb :) All of it is music I legally own, mostly cd's, some music store. I really don't care for the ITMS quality though.

I have 22786 songs, 62.7 days and 94.05GB of music on one computer (out of 5). I think it is around the 310GB mark with all of them and this does not include videos/ films. With them, it would become about 400GB

I wonder if the original poster should have asked to post in this thread only if your iTunes library is larger than the previous poster's. That way it'd be constantly increasing and we could tell who has the largest library by reading the last post. As it is now, we have no idea with reading all posts of a 19-page (and growing) thread.

I was thinking the same thing, dejo. I haven't read the entire thread but I doubt anyone has surpassed the person with over 50,000 songs and close to 200 days of music.

I just passed 1000 songs. I have a lot of cds that I haven't put on there. When I decide I want to listen to them with my shuffle I'll rip them.

Here's an update:

4836 songs, 6.4 days, 16.70 GB

Why the dramatic difference in size? I recently converted all my Apple Lossless files to 256Kbps MP3. Sounds just as good (to me), but at 1/3 the size.
