I am still using my 4. I have yet to see a reason to upgrade.

When its time to retire the 4, I am leaning more and more to getting something like an iPad mini. The phone function of the iPhone is my least used, and I have never found it to be that good at being a phone.

If possible, I will just switch to VoIP for my calls.

I know I am in the minority in ditching the smartphone, but for my usage patterns, I really don't need it (it is a nice-to-have) so long as I have an iPad or anything that can do VoIP.
