Dranix, that's a very close-minded statement. It's clear that many people prefer using the Pencil for navigation. It doesn't make them anymore right or wrong than you.
More features and optimizations for the iPad Pro and the Pencil.
No it just shows they should have gotten a Note instead of a iPad. I don't want that stylus crap on my iPP - As a drawing and writing tool it is great but please no navigation with it.
Sorry, but that is your opinion. Others may have their own and dismissing others opinions on something that could be "toggled" in settings makes no sense. No it just shows they should have gotten a Note instead of a iPad. Some of you guys are finding it hard to comprehend the concept of 'personal choice' as we all like the option to do things differently than the next man. That's life, no explanations needed, no reasoning behind it, it happens. Accept it. don't even question it!
I doubt Apple include/exclude things by accident, intended or not, but they've given the people another choice. Advertised or not. They've opened the door...and closed it again.
Lets hope it re-opens now or sometime in the near future![]()
In my favorite app procreate, the pencil does not navigate well. It misses inputs all the time. So I just changed my habits and use my fingers to select brushes.
So have we all sent e-mails to complain about this? I have sent one already to apple beta and the tim cook one.
Consumers do indeed like choices, but Apple has built a very lucrative business model on the fact that having lots of choices doesn't necessarily equate to a good user experience. In this case I think they're making the right decision, but I don't think that we're seeing a radical shift in iOS ideology; at least, I hope we're not.cool thats a smart decision. consumers like choice.
