Finally got through to order 2 phones. 64gb silver 6 and 64gb gold 6 for the hubby. Both on edge, had to do them separate and got one email for the silver so far. Delivers by 9/19.
 
Anyone been on hold with verizon on the phone for over 15 minutes? I have!

20 min hold for me and I got a rep.

They are having some issue. I upgraded and added a 2nd line to my VZW acct. It told me the delivery date of 9/12 and gave me a long confirmation number but no final checkout. After talking to CS, they are dealing with an issue linking to Apple somehow.

They said with my confirmation number I'm good but I just nest to agree to the terms.

I'll call back a little later if I don't get an email or something in the next few hours.
 
So anybody actually get a 6+ with a 9/19 delivery? Several of my Facebook friends are reporting the same issue as me. I really wish I would have known to do it as two separate orders, I was on the site with phones in cart at like 2:58am. Argh!

I did. 64GB. I ordered it around 1:58am Central time, so the same time as you. Not sure how I went through without an issue, probably just luck. 9/19 release date as well.

It seems that if you are upgrading to Edge, you need to do multiple phone separately.
After finally getting into the checkout process with 2 phones, they were showing up full price and the Edge option never appeared. I did this a couple times before doing it separately and then it worked correctly.
 
after much groveling and anger i managed to get the order through for my wife and i - since we couldn't do the $60 single line on the preorder, i set up two completely separate accounts (one in her name, one in mine) with the crappiest share everything data package on each.

the verizon rep said that i could change those share everything plans over to the single line $60 plan, but he said I can't do that until after I receive the phone but before i activate it. can anyone confirm this or does anyone know if i can do it before i receive the phone, like tomorrow? would be nice to do it ahead of time so that it's already in the system a few days before i activate the phone rather than doing it minutes before activating my phone next friday - that way i know my first bill will be right.

somehow our orders are showing 9/19 delivery in our confirmation emails.
 
I somehow got lucky and got my order in a few minutes after 3:01am EST. After getting some sleep, I woke up to see the email which was sent at 4:28am and the delivery date of 9.19. Checked the order status and it shows 10.7 shipping. :(

Just hoping it's a snafu and 9.19 is correct. I did the crazy thing of finally letting go of unlimited data as well as I just couldn't justify the full price w/ how little I use data now. Hoping I can get it activated and switched to the $60 single line plan to save money as well.

I ordered at 3 AM exactly (as in that's when it was official) and mine still says Order In Process

I am nervous now since others have been confirmed already
 
Should I keep my 4g SIM card ? I have unlimited data and I would like to. I'm going to pay full price for my phone.

Done! Ordered 2 ip6's 16gb in gray. Got my Sept 19 delivery confirmation emails before I hung up the phone with he VZW rep!

I set my alarm for 2a CST. I first tried my iPad, but after seeing the responses, moved upstairs to my computer, which had Win8.1 on bootcamp. I then spent ~50 minutes refreshing, and starting over on the Verizon site. I was also reading the thread here, and trying Apple.com. Kept getting that error message.

I read about issues with Chrome's cacheing, and fired up my rarely used Internet Explorer, an voila, was able to go through the process unmolested to completion.

About an hour of effort, with poor sleep afterwards. Have my confirmation, with 9/19 delivery date.

I decided not to preorder because of that (no single line plan). That said, make sure you call them as soon as you get the package (before even turning on the phone(s)). If they give you a hard time you can return the phones within the 14 day window. I think though for online order 14 days start from the day it ships, not the day you receive it so be careful
 
Verizon isn't making any sense.

Ordered at 03:02Am shipping date of 19 sept (on website and email) but when I check my order status it says 17 oct.

If I don't hear anything by 18 sept shipped package I'm going to the store Friday morning.
 
13 year customer with Verizon and currently have a 12gb everything share plan with 5 lines and do not qualify for edge? Any ideas why? What are the requirements?

can't have paid a bill late at all in last 6 months. 16 year customer here and they won't let me either.
 
After the 'corporate discount' snafu of last night, I was able to order my phone. Right now, it shows a delivery date of 9/19
 
Really annoyed with them...

I ordered at 3:05 well before they pushed back any delivery dates so I was told 9/19 on both the checkout and my email confirmation, but their order tracker is saying 10/7. If this doesn't prove to be just a system error then I'll be canceling.
 
I completed my order of a 128gb space grey iPhone + at 3:01. My email says delivery by 9/19 but when I check order status it says delivers by 10/14. I hope it's a screw up.
 
For those who ordered at 12 am PDT, if your delivery date isn't launch day then that would be enough for me to cancel too. The problem for me is Apple wants to change my text and data plan which includes paying $20 for 5000 texts opposed to unlimited talk/text and 4 GB data for $80.
This is what they show as of 7:35 AM eastern time on their site for the 6+:
