It seems that if you are upgrading to Edge, you need to do multiple phone separately.
After finally getting into the checkout process with 2 phones, they were showing up full price and the Edge option never appeared. I did this a couple times before doing it separately and then it worked correctly.

This happened to me too when I ordered my phone. I ordered the iPhone 6+--64GB/Space Gray--for myself and an iPhone 6 for my father--16GB/Space Gray--and had to go back in afterwards again to do the second Edge for his line.

I did mine first. After numerous errors like you spoke of (iPhone appearing at full price and no Edge being offered). It finally offered edge, said Sept 19 for the Plus, and then when I was finally to confirm my purchase and order it was bumped to 10/7. Hopefully this is not the actual shipping date and maybe a glitch (fingers crossed). My fathers is arriving the 19th, thankfully.

Anyone know in the past if the leadtime has been shortened at pre-order when it's estimated a couple of weeks after the first day of deliveries?
 
Some new info this morning after i spoke to vzw. I wanted to order from vzw directly to get the free additional 1gb/month for 24months.

Called in this morning to let them know that I ordered from apple.com directly due to the trouble I was having with the verizon site.

The rep (Lucy, she was very sweet, actually) indicated that because I have a corporate discount I was not eligible for that promotion. I told her that was not mentioned on the site and she replied that it was listed on their internal FAQs.

She offered me 1 year of additional 1 GB/month at no charge and let me know that they could probably extend it then for another year (I.e call back in 9/2015).

So, I didn't really kick myself in the rear for ordering through apple (and I'm lucky to be getting my phone on 9/19).
 
After the 'corporate discount' snafu of last night, I was able to order my phone. Right now, it shows a delivery date of 9/19


Did you get your corporate discount applied? I just went ahead and ordered and am gonna call this morning to hopefully get it sorted out.

That's BS. I was able to put phones in my shopping cart earlier in the day with the corporate discount and the free GB promotion both showing up.
 
Huh. Let us know if you can get them to honor the 2 year when you call in. My corporate discount didn't give me any discount on the phone itself but it's still on my account for my monthly charges...
 
I was able to get the free 1GB but I just noticed on my confirmation that it has a line charge of $40/month. I'm going to have to call them and verify.

But there is a note that says this:
Note: Your 1st installment and updated payment schedule will appear on your first bill.

So I'm guessing it will change to $15 after my first bill.

I have a corporate discount and it was automatically applied to my account when I checked out through the verizon site. I did not get any type of discount on the phone itself, just the bonus 1GB of data.
 
I hit the site right at 3:01am. Got my phones in the cart with 9/19 ETA on all. Moved to plan selection...site crashed like 10 times to where I said hell with it and went back to bed. Got up this morning and did again. A couple still have 9/19, but the plus models are 10/9.

Yes, I found this out the hard way! If I would have known that I needed to do two separate orders, I would have started with that at 2:58 am when I first got into the system and would be receiving my 6+ on 9/19. Instead now I am getting my hubby's 6 on 9/19 and my 6+ theoretically on 10/7, except now the status page has changed to "Expected ship date: Not available at this time". Very frustrating day!

I already have a promo with a free 1 gb until mid next year. I ordered an iphone 6/space grey/128gb preorder last night and on my email confirmation it doesn't even mention the 1gb promo. I do have a corporate discount

But as long as I have the phone I wanted I am good. We are 13 days from our cycle end today and we have only used 4 gb so no sweat. As long as I get my phone on 9/19, delivered to my job and I didn't put anything down because I went the edge route.

I think the whole 1GB thing and the corporate discount is inconsistent. I too, have the 1GB promotion already from another promotion, but from my email from Verizon yesterday has this one it:

"1 GB Additional Data for a limited time Free

1GB BONUS DATA/MO FOR 2 YRS Expires 0x/xx/2016"

Now the funny thing is on their website it says 1GB promotion "Only includes add-a-line and new lines of services. Upgrades are excluded". So I have no idea what is going on.

However, I didn't get my activation fee waived, at least not according to the bill. Might just have to call it in to get that waived.

I ordered two phones last night on the Verizon website, one for my wife ne for myself.

I got the email confirm, both set to be delivered on the 19th.

Shipping address: My House
Verizon Billing address: My House
Credit Card billing address : My office.

Seemed to go through fine. I assume that's ok. I thought the shipping address had to match my Verizon account address only. Hoping I am right....

Well mine is upgrade as well (technically transfer upgrade), but upgrade nevertheless. So I'm not sure how it works.'

I need the big data, one of person on the family plan is a huge sports fan, so he pulls down a lot of the data 8-10GB a month just imaging watching all the sports with LTE. But he is very willing to pay so I'm okay with it.
 
Was that for the 6 or the 6+?

I ordered the 6 and the order status website shows my expected ship date for my 6 is 9/19.

It was for a 128gb 6+ in gold.

Now my order status says this

I'm trying to order from vzw.com but something weird is happening. I log in and it pops up this big thing about pre-ordering. I click on it and it takes me to the page where I select which line to upgrade. I select my line and it takes me to another page where I'm supposed to pick which phone, which color and which size storage. But there's only one color listed (gray) and no sizes at all. This is for both the 6 and 6 Plus, though I want to get the 6. In any case, it won't let me continue until I pick a phone, but it won't let me pick a size at all, so I'm completely stuck. I've tried it on three different computers, three browsers and two OSes. Looks exactly the same each time.
