Go to the apple order confirmation email, hit the forward email button as if you are going to forward it to someone and it will show you seconds.

Keep in mind, email time stamps can be off on many factors. I found out my time from asking Apple via chat and phone. The email headers were in line with what they told me where apples mail
Servers sent the email out.

I know for a fact by looking up when my 42MM SS BSB was made in the week of April 15th, that crazy close to a release date. They must of had some type of production issues or something wrong with the company who was previously manufacturing them.

Mine shipped out this morning with a expected delivery of the 27th, I am in the states in Kentucky. I preordered around 12:03am PST, but I called Apple to confirm my time. The time I was told was 00:03:27 so I don't if thats any help. I was charged last night as well.

Maybe there was some flaws in the models they made, I don't know. I definetely know that we will have a better and more subperb model then probably the reviewers and such if they shifted companies so quickly.

I was under the impression that Apple began production in January, so I don't know why my serial number on my watch recognizes as the week of April 15th.

They didn't ramp up production until probably some time before the Spring Forward announcement. Until then, they were still testing, perfecting their manufacturing process, working out software issues and last minute kinks. And there were reports that Apple were experiencing some issues that held up the production lines.

I find these forum threads and studying the distribution process wickedly entertaining. Have always marveled at how rollouts work and we are getting an opertunity through shared data to re-engineer the process. Some might be frustrated, but this is a unique time point in the operation.

Agreed. It's agonizing, yet entertaining and informative at the same time. We will look back at this one day and laugh. This is crowd sourcing at its best.

Sadly, looks like no new action today. Unfortunately, that probably means it will be late Monday before another batch, so that would likely result in Weds delivery for the next group.

You must have money to burn. More cents than sense. I want my watch but not so badly to that Im willing to pay more for one purchased on eBay. No way for me, sir. I'll patiently wait until 5/8 and continue to deal with Apple.

Not the best method. That's just the time "Mail" registered your email. For example Gmail (online) shows an earlier time for me.

Best way is to simply ask for it during a support chat with Apple.

Hey guys. There is a bright side to getting our watches late.

If the initial run that people have in their hands now had any type of production issue they apple said it's too late to fix now, it should be fixed with ours right? Lol

What are the seconds on your order confirmation email?

I'm starting to feel the same way. Fascinating that we are talking in 30 second batches. This should help dull the 4 to 6 week wait at the 10 minute mark.

I have resigned to the fact that I'll get my watch on the 8th. Anything before that is a bonus. Apple will get an earful for anything after that.

Apple watch details: 42mm SS BSB
Order confirmation @ xx:06:01 MDT (Colorado)

I suspect by mid week, things will be rolling so fast that we will have a hard time determining the start and end points. We will also have a smaller dataset with more and more people going off the forums to play with the box they received. I'm telling you... We are in a very unique time point and if you dig this, we should be geeked. The boxes will come, let's take this time to study how one of the largest companies pushes a new product into the market.

Am I missing something but haven't many people with confirmation emails with later time stamps shipped out before people with earlier ones? I find it hard to believe from a logistics perspective that they would take seconds into account more than stock/customer location/hub location etc.

Every country has their own timeline. Canada and UK seem to be ahead of US.

I'm also wondering if each Sku & country has its own timeline. That would seem to make the most sense, but unsure how they would manage the distribution of the sku's coming off the ups jets. Perhaps that all happens before it reaches AK?

I would LOVE to have a coffee with a UPS distro manager.

So for each country that has had movement they appear to be charging people based on exact order time to the second?

Yes. I spoke to Apple via phone this morning who confirmed this. Although I have seen some anomalies. For US, we seem to be up to the XX:03:30 mark, give or take.

I've already called Apple CS a few times. Also, I received the dreaded EOD email from them but that email is Apple's written guarantee to me that I'll get my order between 4/24 and 5/8. Otherwise, if I don't, I sue them in court and for much more than an Apple Watch 42MM SS BSB. I'll sue them for fraud, breach of contract, and pain and suffering.

It's not guaranteed it's estimated. A company can only charge you for a product of it ships out in 5 days, as long as they don't do that you'll look like an even bigger ass hat in court than you sound now.
