Who ordered from BestBuy ?

Good to know! I ordered at 3.09am Eastern. Hopefully it will move soon! It’s still sitting on Processing.

What carrier and model did you order? And for pick up for ship?
 
I knew mine had advanced in the shipping process as I received the return shipping label for my phone via email from Best Buy. As soon as I got that, I logged in and my order was updated to "Preparing". I was a bit worried about not getting it tomorrow, but now I know I'm good!

Those of you panicking - relax. Every year Best Buy has many customers who's orders don't show movement until the day of release, and they are still in the customers hand on launch day.

In 2010, I remember they notified me and I asked for a 9am pickup at Cerritos. I was #11 in pre-orders. But I put $50 down about 10 days before in-person which was payment already for signing up. I don't know how much has changed? Just be assertive and go to BB and ask today and tomorrow whether they email you or not.

I don't mind if people go there earlier. I'm #17 and don't want to wait for the first sixteen to get their's since time is money for me. But BB will know how many they have in stock and just notify us. Hopefully, we can pick it up before they open at 10am.

Possible 2/2 Best Buy pre-orders launch day success rate and this one I had a completely blasé attitude getting the X.

What do they mean by that... are they referring that your order get mysteriously updated and you’ll get tomorrow.

Or that they’ll have stock.

Mines updated last night to preparing. 256Gig Silver, Ship to home. I'm wondering upon receiving the iPhone should I take it to best buy before opening it to get the price match...? I didn't even realize they sold for $100 dollars more lol.

AT&T white 64GB model. I ordered it just after 3 AM EST on 10/27.

No carrier, I bought the full price unlocked for $100 more. White, 256GB @ 3:10AM
 
My order just switched to "preparing" about 15min ago. My order time was about 13min after midnight PST on pre-order day.

Anyone paid in full (not financed) had their status change to prepare?

UPDATE: mine just changed to preparing 1 minute ago!!!

My order is for an ATT Next plan iphone x through bestbuy but is also the MQA92LL/A model that they sell to verizon customers so I don't think paying full price or not makes the difference, I think all of them are the carrier independent model aka A1865 version
