My order is now showing Shipped by UPS. I have a tracking number (but not showing up in UPS systems yet). I placed my order about 13 minutes after order launch time. 64GB Space Gray on Verizon, paid full price (no payments).
 
Word of caution....Best Buy phones....once you activate with whatever carrier SIM you use, regardless if you paid full price (except Verizon) it will lock to that carrier. Happened to me during the 7 launch. They input your phone number into their system during the purchase which ties the phone to that number. Ended up taking a loss for my 7 since it was locked to T-Mobile and I had paid full price. Worst experience ever.

Can someone confirm this? How can I activate my att (specified at purchase) phone with a vz sim if this is the case? Do I need to bring a vz phone and sim with me?

I called bb today, and all 3 that had a delivery date for 11/3 are at the store and were scanned in already (they were ordered within the first 20 minutes on 10/27). Order status on bb app now shows "processing" on the green status bar.

I have a 4th phone with a delivery date of 11/10. No movement yet (it was ordered at 8:30 AM on 10/27).

Congrats! But how did you verify the 3 already at the store when the status still says “processing”?

Would like to know cause I ordered at 12.09am for in store pick up and it’s still processing with no movement since order time :(
 
Silver 256 Verizon paid fully just shipped according to BB. Checked UPS app and the label has been created with estimated delivery for 11/3. Shipping method is UPS Next Day Air Saver btw.

There's no such thing as a Verizon 256GB paid fully, fyi.

Not helpful. It was an "fyi" (which I even stated), - for the benefit of other forum-goers. I'm just trying to express that there should be no people wondering about stock etc or order of processing. All the full-price phones (bar size/color) are the same. It's the activation on full-price devices that determines the carrier lock (or lack thereof).

But if you'd like, I can also correct your punctuation?

I called best buy. They told me that 3 were scanned in at the store today (the 3 with a delivery of 11/3). The one scheduled for 11/10 has no movement.

I have since checked my bb app and it shows "Ready For Pickup" tomorrow. I Did not get the email confirmation, so I called bb again (5 min ago) and they said it is ready.

Just a tip to anyone interested - I’ve noticed today that as my order status gets updated for each stage, the app actually reflects it in the purchase history tab before the website does or even the order details in the app.

Might be worth checking for some of you although, YMMV. Good luck frens! I had 10 minutes after midnight 256 space gray and my status just updated to shipped.
 
Just got off the phone with the bestbuy I'll be picking up my phone from. The rep said I won't be required to activate at the store for my fully paid phone. Getting some conflicting information here. Can someone in the know confirm?
 
After wondering all day if I'd get my phone tomorrow (since Best Buy delayed some launch phones last year), my CC was charged and the status was finally changed to Preparing. Now I just need to wait until it ships to get final confirmation! 256GB space grey - being shipped directly to my work instead of store pick-up.
 
I just got off the phone with BB and the rep said they don't price match for pre ordered phones? then she said something about the phone has to be delivered to me first then they'll see what they can do to price match it, she said she wasn't sure how the procedure would go.

One more bit of info. For those wondering about Best Buy's price matching on the full price phone, I just got this response from their customer service chat rep:

"Please be reminded that for price matching unlocked phones and phones with carrier, this can only be processed and checked in store. I would highly suggest you to visit your nearest Best Buy store to price match and please bring a proof of price from the competitor's site"

When the phones arrive in the store, they scan them in and pre authorize the phones to customers accounts. This only gives the carrier the IMEI number. You will then have to activate it with the carrier. Bb never opens the boxes (they will still be sealed).

In the case of a phone bought without a carrier, there would be no pre authorization. You would just activate the phone yourself.

Bb will activate them for you, upon request. There may be some inexperienced employees that will attempt to open the box and activate the phone for you, but just tell them that you do not want them to activate it and that you will do it yourself. There is no need to call bb and tell them not to activate it, as they only do this once you arrive to pick it up.
 
Woah this is a first, I'm in SF, CA and one of my iphone orders got shipped but via Ontrac (a regional shipper on the west coast)
 
Also, for those asking about possible carrier model variations with BB full paid phones, there is a nice post on page 12 showing all major carriers and the model numbers for each phone. Short version of that post is that the same model is used for every carrier except T-Mobile.

I am planning to get it matched through my Discover card. One caveat is that I need to find a competitor's page showing the exact same model and lower price. So far I could not find any page showing the Verizon model (MQA52LL/A) and a lower price. It says "verizon" but doesn't show the model (e.g., Apple.com) or the other way (e.g., my BestbBuy order page).

Anybody figured out a way?
 
Hmm... order on BBY's website finally changed to "Ready for pickup on the 3rd!" So yay progress. But I never got an email that my pickup is/will be ready.

In the past I've gotten an email the day before that said it would be ready the day of. That email would make me feel much more confident.
