Who ordered from BestBuy ?

I bought one from Best Buy and it shipped today. Also have 1 coming from Apple and AT&T. All are scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

Thanks for the TIP Im on Verizon and will take the SIM out of my 8+ and use that to activate my X tomorrow morning. Great info thank you :)

I can confirm INSTORE pickups are legit this is 106am MDT Verizon payments. Went by the BB and they let me see the box and touch it but that was it. Your BestBuy might be opening early FYI so if you have Inshore pickup and your status looks like the below picture I was advised by the store manager I can come at 8am when they open 2 hours early and get my X even before the email as they'll have a line in the store for preorders etc my BestBuy is having a little party lol

So does this basically mean I cannot pick up my iPhone X that was paid in full and walk out without it being activated and locked to my AT&T account?

My first iPhone has just shipped. It was shipped with Next Day Air Saver from UPS, so it will be arriving tomorrow! I'm hopeful that my second iPhone will be shipping shortly as well.

You weren't able to get it unlocked through T-Mobile?

Just got the shipping email.
NYC based. iPhone X 64gb silver

Though ups doesn’t have any update on it so I’m hoping it still arrives tomorrow...

I’m not sure why people keep posting this but I have an iPhone 8 Plus just bought a few weeks ago and I put my T-Mobile sim in it first but I also put my work sprint sim in after that and switch between them just fine. After I have seen people posting about this a couple days ago I put friends Verizon SIM in and that works as well so I’m not sure what all this locking info is about. Yes I have read that in other sites and write ups as well but it def works for iPhone 8 Plus and note 8 and Verizon SIM was the last sim I put in. Only sim not tried was att.

FYI Incase you missed my last post. Some locations are opening early I was told today by the store manager for the bestbuy I have instore pickup they’ll open at 8am that’s two hours early. If your order says it’s Instore pickup ready and you do not have an email stating it’s ready you can go at 8am and wait in the small preorder line and get your X... it’s all good I’ll be there at 8! They even let me see the stash and it doesn’t sound like they’ll have an extra / surplus. It’s possible but they did emphasize not likely. So any exchanges for color or any extra most likely no go

to those who are attempting in store price match when they pick up tomorrow-- what picture of an advertised lower price are you using?
