I've been trying use Siri more often in the car. It could be my imagination, but Siri seems to be working better than on my previous phone (5s)

Got my 6 Plus on Friday, while my case arrived on Thursday. Thought it might be too big. I was wrong. I am so glad I did not go with the 6. Fits perfectly in my pants, shirt pocket, etc. I almost fell for the 6 plus is too big BS.

LOL

An over 6" long phone fits in your shirt pocket!?

Who the hell wants to tote around a brick. Looks absolutely ridiculous man. Return that **** asap.

This is an interesting question.

I was wondering myself whether this wasn't a case of "Biting off more than you can chew"

resulting in a lot of dissatisfaction.
Most of the people complaining havent even bought it. Instead they are trying to justify not having bought it.

Exactly! If you cant handle it with one hand, then grab it with both hands!

I understand there are times when you only have one free hand and being able to do a one-handed text is nice but half the people on this board act like they don't even have a second hand to use if they need it.

So you want me to scroll forever to find a post that I haven't found yet and reply. Smh

There is this cool function we often use on the Internet; it's call "search". Give it a try.

Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

Anybody who care what others think because it sticks out of the top of their shirt pocket, should not own a smartphone. Smartphones are for smart people, not those who are vain. Most shirt pockets are 4.75 inches deep. So it sticks out 1.5 inches. Such a tragedy. Get a life.

Is it possible to return a preordered 6 plus to Apple store? I had it shipped to me.

I'd like to exchange it for a regular 6. What would they do exchange it then refund me the difference?

I know the regular 6 is quite abundant in stores right now.

I was in your exact situation. I exchanged and was returned the difference for my preordered 6 Plus in store a couple hours ago for the 6. There is no issue at all.

And if you have something else in your other hand? Like a briefcase, or grocery bag?

Then it can wait. I mean, it's a text message for crying out load. I'll use Siri if it's that important. Our better yet! I'll call them. You know, that thing phones do so well?

That's what boyfriends/husbands are for. :p

In all seriousness though if I have to carry something I usually just slip my phone into my purse, until my hands are freed up.

According to my UPS tracking number, the weight of this "brick" including the box was 1.6 pounds  I just don't know how I will manage :D

Bottom line is that it really depends from person to person, it's not a one size fits all type of thing.

I'm very used to using a phone one handed...even at the computer, one hand is on the mouse when I'm working and if I get a text, then I pick it up with the other and mark as read or whatever...same with driving, especially having a stick shift car. I tried using the 6+ and found it took too much concentration in handling, it needed too much attention whereas with the 5S and 6, it's second nature, I don't even have to pay attention.

This article actually sums it up very well...

http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_t..._i_might_return_apple_s_giant_new_iphone.html

"A device that requires two hands is a device that demands your full attention. It’s not a device you can whip out of your pocket and glance at quickly in between other tasks. It’s not a device you can use to quickly scan your email while carrying a grocery bag or hanging onto a subway pole."

I had an IP6+ on order, but cancelled it today and just bought a regular IP6 at the apple store. I personally think Apple messed up on the design of it. They should've trimmed the bezel down significantly to make up for the larger screen, instead of exactly copying the design of IP6. I hate Android, but the LG G3 is a perfect example of how to make a 5.5 inch phone bearable. Minimal bezel is a must. I'm sure they could make the fingerprint sensor a bit smaller to make this work.

I feel that 2 years from now when I can upgrade again, the 5.5 inch iPhone will be A LOT better than this one. I'll take the plunge then.

Holding the 6+ is harder because it's slippery.

I got Spigen TPU case, air capsule or something. Very thin. The phone is so much easier to handle. Still big but much nicer now.

My friend retuned his this morning. We were all there when he opened it and we all started laughing because of the size! The look of horror on his face when he removed it from the box. :p

I got the opposite with my applehatin' song in law here with a boat paddle for a phone. He looked at my 4.7, held it up to his boat paddle and scoffed. Little turd! If he wasn't family, I'd ......

I don't think that is a fair comparison :p
