I got to interact with one in an Apple store yesterday. The iPhone 6+ didn't feel as large in my hand as I had thought, and it seems that I might be able to use it fairly comfortably. However, my concern is that it is definitely too large for my pants pockets. I will likely be going with the 4.7" iphone6 next year when my contract expires.

Have a plus in my hand..unopened. I currently use a G3 and it feels comfortable. Not sure what I wanna do. I have 14 days to decide.

i dont regret the purchase. However, I have started telling myself that I would have been fine with the 6 as well. My only gripe is that it's total size dwarfs the Note 3 and LG G3. I know Apple wanted to keep the form factor the same but I hope going forward they can reduce the size. The display is outstanding though. I honestly can't tell the difference between my LG G3's screen and the Plus

I'll take your phone and send you a 6, unopened.. lol.

I also have a regular 6 unopened haha.
Im an apple guy but my droids have been excellent. I want to have everything apple again but that plus is hard to hold for me. But the regular 6 feels like i would have a "cheaper" version.

It's a great problem to have lol

The only thing I'm going to regret about the plus is how itll fit in my jeans. Been lounging in sweats all weekend so I have yet to know. I wont be able to use my front pocket anymore, and that will be a bummer. Its a shame they just cant make girls pants to have giant pockets like guys do. Just a damn shame.

I have a G3 and man that phone is nicer to hold. And you're right screen looks equally as good.

My phone is getting delivered this week I went to the apple store today and played with the plus and the main thing I'm worried about is typing one handed im so fast on my 5s.

I actually find typing one handed easier on the plus than my 5s. Keys were to small on the 5s and I was always making mistakes.

A lot less mistakes on the plus.

I'm torn still. I absolutely am loving the battery life and know the more I use it, the harder it'll be to go back to a normal sized battery. I can type one handed for sure, and have started using reach ability when walking around. I definitely use my phone for non-calls more than anything. I wear fairly slim jeans (intentionally wore my slimmest going out pair yesterday) and other than seeing an outline, the phone was fine; my 5S being thicker also had its outline showing. I live in Manhattan and there are so many times when I'm waliking around and multitasking that giving that up makes me nervous, but maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it. I have a 6 reserved just in case, but I'm still not convinced I want to do that. I also wore my 6+ while running yesterday in an armband and it wasn't nearly as silly as I thought it would be.

Going away this week, will probably see how that goes before making a decision. I will say the 6 looks like a runt now.

Most of the people complaining havent even bought it. Instead they are trying to justify not having bought it.

That's a really good point.

I couldn't care less what phones people have/like/want, but I am fed up of the many posters here desperate for validation, telling people that they'll "regret getting that brick", along with "I'm so glad I went for the 6, the 6 Plus would be far too big" when they haven't even touched one, and my personal favourite:

THE BG 86 said:
Who the hell wants to tote around a brick. Looks absolutely ridiculous man. Return that **** asap.

I don't care that you think you've found the perfect phone, but don't presume that any other phone is unsuitable/rubbish/a crap choice, just because you like the one you've got in your hand.

"Think Different"?

Apparently not...

Initially I had doubts about the 6 Plus. I've always been the person that said I wouldn't be interested in Note sized gadgets.

Still, I ordered a Plus sight unseen, because my 5s with the Lifeproof case was as big as a regular 6. I felt like a 6 didn't offer enough upgrades to make it worth it. Battery life has reportedly been about the same, etc.

I didn't even go into the store to hold them yesterday when I arrived; I just went straight into the reservation line.

When my turn came up, the guy asked if I had held both phones yet and that most people end up preferring the 6 Plus. I said no, so as he got someone to bring out my phone, we went over to the display where I got to hold both phones for the first time. I'm not tall, about 5'9" but my hands are big enough where I felt completely at ease with the Plus.

Of course, I am one subjective anecdote. Your mileage may very.

Heh, another one here with an unopened 6 that would gladly trade for a 6+ :p

Anyway, typing one-handed is already difficult on the 6, but I've seen myself typing more often with 2 hands so shouldn't be a big deal. I would be more worried about the size in the pocket and the obvious fragility of a larger device...

So you want me to scroll forever to find a post that I haven't found yet and reply. Smh

Ignore them! The thread title was quite obvious what it was about but people still had to get in it and comment about the time they have wasted. Typical MacRumor members, nothing out of the ordinary.

Btw, I takes getting used to it. Moved from iPhone 5S to Galaxy S5 and it took me some time to get used to screen size. Honestly, can never go back to 4" screen.

He's in denial...
Try taking the 6+ on a 5 mile run... I did, not fun...

Meh it wasn't that bad. I have a temporary holster like pouch that I wear on my hip that I purchased for like $14. Until a legit hard shell holster/case combo is made that I like is made, this will do. I had one from Pure-Gear for my iPhone 5. I use my phone for music, Nike + Fuelband, and Nike + Running apps when I'm on the greenway.

Nothing has made me regret my 6 Plus, nor do I expect it to.
