Apple Watch of any version, or just a normal watch?

I searched and couldn't find any threads about normal watches. I wonder what % of the forum community here doesn't own/want an Apple Watch.

What brands do you like?

Here's one I picked up for less than £20 recently. Came with the correct time out the box.

There is an excellent thread in the "Picture Gallery" section of the forum, entitled "Who's Got A Nice Watch? Traditional Watches Only - No Smartwatches" where watches are discussed at length.

I suggest that you send a note to the mods ('contact us') and request that this thread be added to the already existing thread.

Re watches, I still wear a traditional watch, an Omega Deville that I have had a decade, and which closely resembles those classic watches from the 1950s and 1960s, with a clean face, elegant Arabic numerals at every second space, starting with 2 and concluding with 12, and dauphin hands.

Maybe the options should be between a Smart Watch, Normal Watch, and Nothing instead of exclusively an Apple Watch. 🙂 I'm one of the two people who still wear a Pebble watch.

EDIT for fans of unnecessary info: I actually got the watch free from Pebble for writing a couple watchfaces. They did pretty well on the Pebble appstore, so they wanted me to keep updating them to support color, but I told them it'd be pretty hard to with my b/w only Pebble.

They actually sent me two Pebbles because they thought AngerDanger and my real name (which I'd been using to correspond) were two different people.

I stopped wearing a watch when I started carrying a mobile phone with me all the time.

Haven’t owned one in years.
