-I've had no problems with it, except having to reset BT every time I boot. Of course I do not play games on it. Just listen to music, use MS Office 2008.
-I would like to find an alternative to VLC for video. Playing mkv files can be frustrating

do u need MacTubes on ur eMac to watch youtube?

I don't use YouTube. Maybe a video or two a month just from links, but I never just go there to look at stuff. And my netbook handles all of that.

Last time I checked a year or two ago, it worked just fine in-browser (Of course, I only watch videos in 240p, my internet connections have always sucked.)

Never thought I'd be posting in this thread, but at work my main workstation is a PowerMac G5 and it will be for 4 more weeks as of Monday. I'll be winning a bet with another one of the Mac techs where I work. The basic outline of the bet is that our main workstation must be a PowerPC based Mac and we must use it for 5 weeks. He chose a Quad G5, with cooling problems. Last at my work place. I chose a 2.0 June 2004 G5, with no known problems.

First day of the bet, he put some Ubuntu distro on his. Mine's still running my highly customized installation Leopard. But I'm slightly cheating with Microsoft's RDP and the virtual servers in the Win 2008 R2 rack. Don't tell him.

Even at my house I've been spending lots of my free time in my workshop, which only has PowerPC Macs. My current project, get Tiger running nicely on a Power Macintosh 8600.

My iMac G4 17'' will be my main machine until the iMac 2012 comes then I will use the G4 for old apps, media and for my cousins when they come over.

Specs:
1.25GHz G4
Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 Ultra
768mb RAM
80gb HDD
