Given the base model is now 32GB and then the huge leap to 128GB, how many people are opting for the 32GB model who formerly opted for the 64GB model? I feel like 128GB is way to much for me, I stream most music these days and don't keep much on my phone. In years past I would have loved 32GB but now I'm torn, will it be enough, keeping in mind I will up upgrading in a year.

I did. But now I'm having second thoughts as well. I keep telling myself 32GB will be just fine, I only have 4.6GB used with Photos taking up 1.3GB. I stream most music as well, don't take that many photos, and barely have any applications. One part of me knows I'll be fine with 32GB but then the other part of me thinks I should do 128.

Seems like a lot of people here are opting for the 128GB model despite all the complaining about how they wanted a 32GB base model.

I went with two 32GB in matte black and silver. My wife and I both have 64GB phones now and hardly use much of the capacity. (~10-15GB each)

I am mildly concerned about resale value later down the line but no matter how much resale improves I probably won't be able to get a return on the extra $100 I would be paying upfront for space we don't need.

128GB iPhone 7 Plus for me. I'm going to 4k the **** out of everything. Also this will be my first iPhone so I don't want to have anything to worry about.

With each upgrade in camera specs comes higher needs in regards to storage. I think 32 is good for folks who need a smartphone but are not taking pictures and stuff ... this is a rarity these days, even amongst the older crowd. I recently got the 256gb iPad Pro and used a ton of space on it already, because I can. I went with 256gb phone too just to not have to worry about it.

I gave it some consideration. I have a 64GB 6S with about 42GB used. I am going with the 7 Plus so I thought maybe more pictures and videos with that phone might make 32 pretty tough. My wife is coming from a 16GB 6S so the 32 is going to be fine for her.

I got the 64 GB iPhone 6 at launch and have used about 40 GB. Another 64 GB iPhone would of been great, but one can't go wrong with 128 GB.

I have a 128GB now and ran into a situation on vacation in Alaska where some video that I thought I was shooting (while zip lining, so I couldn't watch the screen to see if something had gone wrong) actually WASN'T, apparently due to lack of space. I take a ton of photos and video and stuff and never want to run into that again, so I went with 256GB.

32GB is enough for me. I have iPod Touches in 32GB with a ton of junk on it and still have over 20GB free. I mainly use the iPod for all social media and such anyways. I store my pics with Google Photos and have around 40 apps. My 6S is 64GB but that was because 32 didn't exist and 16 was too small. I have 55 GB free on my 6S. lol.

I did the 64gb with my iPhone 6 and it's running out of space two years later. I decided to do the 128gb version this time around for the extra cushion.

The 32gb model seems like a scam to me.

32 black 7+ for me. I wanted the JB 7+, but it wasn't available for launch day delivery and I really don't need more storage to justify paying $100 extra.

I suspect a lot of people who planned on getting 32 got 128 just to get jet black. That's what I was planning to do.

went with 128 cause it was only $4.xx more per month added to my monthly payment after trading in a 6 for the free 7. kind of a no brainer to get the extra storage especially when my monthly payment for two phones went down almost $40 changing to the new plan from the more everything plan..

I wanted to, but I foresee taking more pictures and videos with the 7+. So I went 128.

Another 32 here. Most of my games and multimedia files on my ipad pro. Music and photos are all streamed or stored online.
