Went with 128gb matte black 7. In process of deleting all MP3s and replacing with FLAC. Briefly trying Android phone and 128gb SD card is perfect. Will convert FLAC to ALAC and rotate music in and out of iTunes if space becomes an issue. I don't take photos or videos. Previously had a 64gb 6S, double storage for same price was a no thinker for me.

I currently have the 64gb iPhone 6s+. Looked at my storage when the 7 was announced and saw I used 21gb and had a bunch of stuff on there i haven't used in months. I bought the 6s+ when it came out, so its been a full year.

I ordered the matte black 32gb 7 Plus.

It depends on how you're managing your stuff. I have a 64GB and only filled up 6GB of stuff - use google photos for pictures so I have none in my camera roll. I delete texts every now and then, and so I have 55GB of free storage. 128 would be way too much for me.

Yeah I think I'm just gonna stick with the 32gb. I use iCloud Photo Library and Apple Music so I don't have much taken up by photos/music. I checked my usage and about 5gb of the 19gb I'm currently using is several different apps cache so I think I'll be fine without having to manage everything too much on the 32gb

Yeah, plus I also have an iPad Pro and iPod touch that I use to store all the social media apps, etc that take up space. Both of those devices are 32GB as well.

As I posted I am going with a 32GB iPhone 7 HOWEVER, in retrospect, I wish now that I would've gone with the 256GB 9.7" iPP instead of the 128GB ... I am really putting that iPad to work and could've use the extra capacity ... damn.

I went with 32gb, checked my SE and I had only used 17gb total plus all my music and video are streamed and I have the cloud so I have no need for extra storage.

Ordered the base models last time. Not making that mistake again. I had previously purchased the 32g on an ipad3 and iphone4 and had enough space so I thought 16g would work. This time I'm definitely getting the 128g since the apps are increasing in size.

I went with 32GB. My iPhone has about 10GB free now, but about 35GB used for music now. Since I have Apple Music, I'm just not going to put any music on my phone and rely on streaming, and if I need to be offline, download music via the cloud.

I have 16 gb in my 6s and $0.99 a month for iCloud 50gb. Never had an issue.

Some of my friends have pages and pages of apps and 90% of them they don't use. To me I think you have a problem if you never use most of the apps but just have them on there.

It's like having a full closet but only using 1/5 of it but the rest instead of throwing out, donating, or even selling for some cash, you just let pile up all the old and clothes that don't fit anymore in there.

Heh, I know right. I don't like a lot of clutter on my phone so I keep it nice and simple. Clutter can be on other said devices :D

No way for me. I went 128. High res photos and 4K video -- those are valuable features I will use regularly -- eat up storage like a bear during autumn in a berry patch. For me, this is just one example. I typically buy phones thinking 2 years. What I use today has always expanded tomorrow. Maybe Apple hits a home run next year, and we all throw money at them. Maybe they do the same old incremental crap. 2 years. More storage seems worth the cost differential to me.

128 for me and 32 for wife. Just tried to update hers to 128 but the order was already sent to shipping. I don't think she'll ever notice. But still...

I am going for 32 and 0.99 for iCloud for photos or I might just use google photos because majority of my storage is used up by photos.

I don't store music (Streaming rocks) And movies on my phone anyways.

I initially thought to go with a 32gb since I have all my photos backed up automatically on iCloud. But with Live Photos and 4K video I think I'll go ahead and get a 128gb 7+

I am unsure about what size is best for me. Currently, I have a 6S plus--64GB. I am only using 16GB. Of the 16GB used, 9GB are for stored music on the phone. I subscribe to iTunes Match, so I can keep music in the cloud. Currently we have 300 photos, but would like to add more. I don't see myself doing 4K video. We might store a few TV shows. We currently don't have any stored. I don't play games. Main uses are email, messaging, social media, web browsing and watching YouTube. I have had my 6S plus phone since launch day.

Do I need more than 32GB?

Thanks

Jay

I think you'll easily be fine with a 32gb, especially if you don't end up using 9gb for music

32GB seems pretty useless to me. I have my iTunes music ibrary on my phone, along with a lot of ebooks and I take lots of pics. I went all the way-256GB.

I think 32GB is a decent size for most people, there are plenty of power users in this forum but the average person that only does some basic social networking, listens to apple music and doesn't take a lot of pictures or videos will have more than enough storage with the 32GB model.

I wanted to get the 128GB model but the shipping estimates sucked so I got the 256GB model that should arrive this week :D
