Same. I have an iPT and iPad Pro that are both 32GB so I can pretty much do most of my stuff on there and keep my phone clean and minimal.
well, i have two 128g iPads and another 256g iPad, so that's why i'm keeping my iPhone clear from all stuff

Wife was the okay one who upgraded this year. 32gb for her. With the exception of photos she has an easy time staying under 20 (tough 16 would be tough). Photos will need to be cleaned up s couple times a year. She knows this.

I'm quite pleased with what Apple did with storage this year. I feel like it had been lrettt necessary for a while

Not a chance. I will never forget the misery of having 32GBS and my phone literally raging against me because of the lack of space. Having to constantly delete pictures and not getting messages was horrible.

128GBS forever.

I was set to get the 32, since I dont hoard apps, stream my music and offload pictures via google photos on a regular basis. However just as i was about to order I thought to myself: "This is probably one of those times where I make a poor choice to save a rather small amount of money and will regret it later". So I went with the 128. It is a massive leap in storage and will enable loads of 4K video when I'm on vacation etc. All this for an amount i could easily spend at the pub in a weekend..

So, 128GB matte black ordered and no pub this weekend! :)

I normally buy phones with 16GB so the 32GB will be no problem for me (I hope!)

To the OP,
Ask yourself this question(as I would):
If the lineup was 32,64,128 would you still consider going 64.
If yes, you're halfway ready to pay the extra dough- so go get the 128. And if you'd primarily consider 32, you've got your answer yet again.

Apps continue to grow in size, and with all the music and other stuff that end up on the phone, I would not want to be crippled with only 32GB phone...

I have a 16GB iPad, and find it far too small. Very frustrating. All my iPhones so far have been 32GB and more than enough space for me. My current 5S 32GB has 15GB of space left on it at the moment.

TBH I have filled the 5S up a couple of times, but a) clearing out photos to laptop releases a lot, b) I have noticed I have fewer apps on it than in the old days when I had over 300 apps and many large games. Now I just have a few apps that do what I want, a small collection of vital but infrequently used apps, and one or two small games, and am quite reluctant to put more apps on it just for the sake of the new shiny.

However, I plan to do more filming with my new phone, BUT it probably will be web-only, so I don't really need to save in 4K and go through the headaches of processing and uploading 4k. So the 32GB will PROBABLY be enough for me.

not sure what i'll end up keeping or not, but 32gig matte black is now only september 16th available iPhone and its at the further apple store but ill go for it,

cancelled a 128 matte to go at&t next, but phone i was going to trade in (6s+) is still under contract on another line and too many complications

maybe ill keep 32gb, since i already have 64 SE and 6s+

i dunno... a mess,

had 64 air2 and fine with 32gig for pro 9,7,

only went 64 because 16 was oos. but for phones i think 32 is my minimum requirement,e,

also may not keep the phone when next one comes out next year, so it may be best to get one with best resell especially if alternating with at least one more iphone

Currently have a 64gb 6s and I'm using about 19gb on it.

So I ordered a 32gb 7 because of that but I'm having second thoughts about it and I'm leaning towards the 128gb now just to be safe...any advice?

Since they upgraded the storage for the 6s\Plus, i wish they did the same for the SE, or at least bumping the base storage to 32GB and keep the 64GB - its time to get rid of all 16GB storage devices.

Apple makes it tough for 64gb users, 32gb may be too little, but 128gb may also be complete overkill :p

Originally purchased the 32GB yesterday morning, but after reading this thread and checking my current iPhone 6 64GB I cancelled and re-ordered the 128GB. I may not use anywhere near that but I currently have 27GB used on my 6 and wanted to make sure that I didnt get to the point of not having enough room. Luckily the cancel and re-order still kept my est delivery date of 10/5-10/11. Hoping Apple moves it up. My only concern now is going from a 4.7 to the 5.5 size but will have to wait and see when it arrives.

I went with two 32GB in matte black and silver. My wife and I both have 64GB phones now and hardly use much of the capacity. (~10-15GB each)

I am mildly concerned about resale value later down the line but no matter how much resale improves I probably won't be able to get a return on the extra $100 I would be paying upfront for space we don't need.
There's no need to worry about resale value. The lowest capacity iPhones always get you the highest percentage of your money back, so you made the right choice in that regard.

It depends on how you're managing your stuff. I have a 64GB and only filled up 6GB of stuff - use google photos for pictures so I have none in my camera roll. I delete texts every now and then, and so I have 55GB of free storage. 128 would be way too much for me.

32GB would be enough for me, but takes some management.
I'll rather take the 128GB and just forget about it.
256GB would be wasted on me.

I use Google Photos and Apple Music /iTunes Match. All of my stuff sits in the cloud. 32GB is enough for me. I barely got by on 16GB, which shows how obsolete 16GB really was.

All my current iOS devices are 64gb and none are using more than 32gb. But if I do upgrade I'll probably go with 128gb just to be safe.

My plan was to shut off iCloud and delete less used music to see what I could get away with and I got the usage down to about 11 gigs. I may just go for the 128 on NEXT anyways since it's not that much more to pay. I could probably get away with the 32 if I wanted to pay attention to the space but seems like a pain.

I had a 32GB 4, then a 64GB 6 ... going with the 32GB 7 this time UNLESS my only option on the 16th is a 128GB. I keep nothing on my phone; downloading and deleting vacation photos immediately after I return home.

Would of preferred a 64GB because 128GB is overkill for my needs but 32GB is far to small these days for me anyway.
I have about 40GB on my 6+

I wanted a 64 as well. I have a 128 6S and I use just under 36gb so 32 would have been a constant struggle on what to delete. So I went with the 128 again since we have no 64 option.

As far as people complaining about not wanting a 16gb option anymore was a fair complaint in this day and age but I don't think the masses knew that getting a 32 base, getting rid of the 16, would also get rid of the 64. Anway, I got a 128 and it was only $100 so whatever, scheduled for delivery for next friday.

32 gigs is just fine for me. I keep my pictures and music on a computer, not that much on my iPhone. Why would I want to have tons of pictures on the phone when I would never look at each of them every day.
