These are my Poljots: the first is the Aviator I mentioned above. Since I broke the dial I put a different one in place for now. The second one is the official MiG 29 pilots exclusive watch. Both movements (Poljot 3133, an improved version of the Valjoux 7734) have been revised, they run surprisingly well

Attaching images of a few of my current favorites.

Looking at this stuff is actually making me feel sheepish about the Garmin I have on right now 😅.

Really enjoying browsing through everyone’s posts, watches are so fun to look at.

On the left: TISSOT Le Locle AUTO 39.3MM 20th Anniversary Men's Watch T006.407.11.033.03

On the right: Tissot Gentleman T127.410.11.041.00 Quartz Blue Dial Watch 40mm

Picked up these two stunning gems today. I am absolutely in love with how they look and I had to have them.
Two beautiful - and classic - timepieces; elegant, classy and attractive. Well wear.

The Tudor Geneve [ETA: Black Bay Chrono] is particularly nice.

Good photo too.

My "rich man’s Seiko”. (inexplicably scratched shortly after taking this photo. I let out the loudest profanity heard on this planet, possibly in the entire solar system… except Jupiter)

Strangely I've never been a fan of the Grand Seiko series, although admittedly they're known to be great watches, synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship with superb hand-assembled spring drive movements.
However you fell for it, bought it and I'm sure it's giving pleasure which is the main point of buying a high-end timepiece. Wear well!

My "poor man’s Rolex”. (..but unlike Rolex, I didn’t have to be put on a waiting list, saved $12,000 and don’t have to worry about smashing or scratching it on the rocks while swimming/diving/hiking)

These are great, truly underestimated watches. I have one, as-new, rarely worn, which I resolve to give some wrist-time over the weekend. And provide some photos.......

My 1976 Speidel digital (Swiss case, American movement):

Never seen one before but that piqued my curiosity. Just been on their website and could see only two Speidel watches listed, which strikes me as being rather strange. They claim to be in existance for over 100 years.
The same site heavily promotes Seiko. Amazon however show many different Speidel watches. Go figure.
Yours appears to be particularly sturdy in steel and is in remarkeble condition for a 1970's timepiece. So many early digital LED watches have long lost their displays, either due to natural ageing of the LED or LCD boards or accelerated death by leaking batteries.
