With all the talk about durability and G-Shocks I'm surprised no one has mentioned Suunto watches. I have had one of their Core series and it takes anything I throw at it.

I have the Observer it's great until the band cracks. 6 weeks to get a band is ridiculous. I also had to wait nearly a year to get the watch but thats another story.

might not be the nicest but i like it! :)

Casio G-Shock, Citizen Eco-Drive Radio-controlled, Montblanc Timewalker. The second picture is a hand-wind Pilot-style watch I recently built with a IWC-style strap. I've gotten more into the "indie" watch brands lately, so I downsized my collection of the usual automatic Swiss houses.

Aside from some unfinished DIY projects, I've got my eyes set on the MKII Paradive as my next purchase.

Bought myself a new Citizen Eco-drive today. Didn't mean to, but it was so shiny and yellowy that I had to.

I don't know about that band but the watch itself is very nice looking. I haven't seen that one in person but the yellow looks great on the face.

I haven't seen one like it at all. Seen a couple of blue ones but not yellow. I quite like the strap - it has a yellow back and along with the yellow stitching I think that it sets off the yellow bits on the dial quite nicely.

Purchased this time piece just the other day, Rolex Explorer ii. The bezel still has the plastic around it, hence the roughness look. This is my second Rolex purchase.

Very nice looking. I have been thinking about adding a white explorer II to my collection. I have a black and orange 8500 PO right now so I want to avoid another black watch. The white Milgauss also has my eye.

The white faced Explorer is a very nice piece. There a killing if you buy them retail but if you do a bit of research (especially on the Rolex based forum) you can pick up a NIB one for a great price.

I haven't read through the entire thread, though I might because I enjoy seeing all the good watches everyone has. Here's mine, which was a gift from my mom when I graduated from college in 2002. It's the Jason Bourne watch, but I actually got this about a month before the movie came out. I had a nice grin when I was in the theater and saw my watch being featured as heavily as it was in that movie.

I'm very happy with this one, but I also like the looks of the current Carreras and Grand Carreas from Tag. But, I'm also not the type of person who will not spend that kind of money on a watch, even if I could. I'm also the type of person who drives a Toyota even though I could afford something more.

I haven't worn a watch since the 2nd gen iPod nano came out and I could put the time in the title bar on the screen. Loved that nano and there's still one lying around in most rooms of the house plus one for the car!

Where did you get the strap? Couldn't find it on Google.
