I think I've posted my watch case here before, too lazy to look. Also too lazy to take my own picture however I bought this as a 21st birthday gift to myself last year.
The salesperson at Macy's was so hesitant to let me try it on and she thought I was kidding when I said I was buying it. Oh to look younger than you are...you should see the looks I get when I buy alcohol

New addittion

Still waiting to buy the Omega antimagnetic. In the meanwhile, a cheap(er) treat to myself to quench my thirst for watches. :D

This brand has a special meaning to me since Tissot was the first nice watch I ever got. It was a gift from an aunt on my 15th. birthday. Of course I didn`t appreciated the gift back then

We'll, 10:30, same idea. Didn't think I'd use it for the time at all, but I find that I am checking it once in a while rather than pulling out my phone.

I've been staring at the damn thing for a good 10 minutes now & still for the life of me cannot see how on earth you got to 10:30 there...

Please explain?

Does this count as a nice watch?

Yes, on purely aesthetic grounds, I'll grant that it is quite attractive.

However, on the more functional (and necessary) grounds of actually telling the time, I'd see it as fundamentally lacking, as I have no idea how to read whatever information it offers. In other words, I don't know how to read the time as described by that watch. Thus, as a watch, it would strike me as something of a design failure.

And how can you read what it says? It is not at all clear to me.

Yes, indeed; fair point, and well said. Actually, that is exactly my response, too.

Well, I bought it for the fitness tracker, not the watch. But it's actually easy to tell the time, but the pic is not fair. You have to actually see it display the time. When you double tap on it, it first liters up the ring based on your daily activity level, then the 12/3/6/9 light up so you know which way is up if it's not on the band. Then the hour lights up and stays lit, then the minutes blink for a few moments. Sounds more difficult then it is. Works surprisingly well.

WHAT watch is this!? I must know. The perimeter/outer dial (pardon my lack of terminology...) is the exact same as my Swiss watch earlier on this page.

It is a modded Seiko 007 with a Soxa dial and planet ocean bezel. If you google dagaz you will find plenty of information about his mod's and excellent quality work he does.

oh my goodness this response is much appreciated. watch modding is definitely a retirement hobby i need to remember in ~40 years. :)

Not to be a Debbie downer but that is supposed to be the bezel off a 2500 movement planet ocean but it is not legit IMO from the picture given. The pip placement is way off. (No offense intended to whoever made this if they were upfront about using replica parts)
