I'm thinking 32 gb main memory at a minimum. 1 TB storage at a minimum.

Has to be at least 8 cores and a display resolution of 4k at the minimum.

Anything else would be a fail right?
Yes. Don't forget that it has to have a battery that doesn't last one minute less than the predicted time or else it's immediate #batterygate.

I'm definitely ready. I skipped out on the iPhone 6/6S because I just didn't feel like getting them. There was nothing wrong with my current phone (still nothing wrong it). But it'll be interesting to see the design refresh.

I hope they bring back squared off chamfered edges. This current iPhone is simply not ergonomic without a case.
bezeless sides too please.

The reason I moved so quickly from the 6 to the 6S Plus is so I could get a device that I could hang on to for at least a couple years (RAM bump mostly, but also CPU bump).

I'm of course curious as always to see what the 7 brings, but I'll be waiting on the 7S. I've no doubt my 6S Plus will muscle through the next 650 days or so without letting me down.

Design wise I don't find the 6/6S compelling either. iOS 9 runs fine on my iPhone 5, so I figure I'll just keep going with it awhile longer. I'd upgrade to a 6S if the 5 broke, but otherwise I don't see the point in spending more $.

i'm with you on that one.

i got the 6S plus (had the 6 plus before) and while it's slightly better/easier to hold without a case due to the new aluminium used, i still prefer to put it in a case for extra security. the 6 was the FIRST iPhone that needed a case, i never ever used a case on any phone before.

Heck yea.... Loved the chamfered edge on the 5 series. How about a chamfered edge 4 series hybrid with sapphire glass... Hmmmmm

Not care what it looks like - want to know what it actually does - I know I'm weird but what it does it more important to me than what it looks like or what kind of corners or ???

i just hope the 7 comes with less bezel cuz i dont mind big phones as long as it makes sense (screen) but the iPhone 6S Plus is so HUGE for no reason. there are android phones with bigger screens that are smaller in size. love the galaxy s6 edge, too bad it cant run iOS

I'm not, I don't particularly like selling my current phone, it just helps me justify the expense of a new iPhone.

Off topic, for those that do it, where/how do you guys sell your current iPhones when a new one comes out?

I've sold my iPhones on eBay but I actually prefer Swappa as the fee for the site is already built in you just have to pay the PayPal fee.

As I am very happy with the form factor of my 5s, I am hoping that they will come out with a similar phone. I personally do not care for the larger phablets. That' why I have an iPad. To me, it is a phone first. Having the ability to have internet, etc. is extra.
I believe that my 5s will maybe make it through maybe one or maybe two more iOS upgrades and that if I have to upgrade, it will be a smaller 4" phone.
If not that's the case, then I will just live with whatever I can function with.

I think the next step for Apple is to get rid of the bezel. 6plus size screen with no bezel would make me buy it. I'm not fussed about new features, the 6plus does everything I need.

I'm happy with my 6S Plus and not really anticipating the next generation. Although there's a good chance I'll sell the 6S and switch to the 7 when its released, just because I find it's cheaper to upgrade this way. But I may wait until the S version, because they're usually better upgrades.

I too believe in the "s" cycle. We get the best version of that particular design with that cycle
